By the way, if Dave Meltzer or Bryan Alvarez break a WWE story, chances are it’s bullshit. SRS reported it too, but he’s been spotty as well. The wrestlers in WWE do not respect them because of the silly narratives they’ve put out and the constant dismissal of their work.

Dave (and by association, Bryan) have chosen an exploitative path of milking smarks for their money by telling them what they want to hear. All the best matches happen elsewhere and everyone who signs with the WWE is a money-grabbing idiot with no love for true wrestling. Tomohiro Ishii is somehow more deserving of a Hall of Fame spot than Randy fucking Orton. It’s ridiculous.

Why would anyone risk their job giving these assholes correct information even if they are somehow privy to it in the corporate WWE setting?

Sure, you choose to believe that. Brock Lesnar also died at SmackDown this week. He needed to be resuscitated before going out. Him being out there looking healthy doesn’t prove it didn’t happen.

Which scenario is more likely? Bryan Alvarez nor Dave Meltzer talk to anyone of consequence in WWE anymore. When was the last time they actually broke news? They’re always commenting on things after it happens.
