I've decided to commish a rotis league, only if there's enough interest to start another league. But I don't want the players watered down so PM me if anyone's interested and I'll decide from that and see if there should be one started. I'll only do it if there's enough interest...

People will always bitch about how stuff costs them match ups.

Fielding stats adds something extra to the decisions you have to make. I'm not saying have every fielding stat, you could have a positive and negative stat. The league has wins AND losses as stats, so why not errors and assists. Players get rewarded for good play and punished for bad. Just as you do with batting and pitching.

This is a rotis league not a head to head so if someone has a bad day and makes 3 errors it shouldn't cost you in the long run. If they do it on a regular basis then you have to decide about whether or not to keep them in the line-up. The same way that the BoSox had to decide whether or not to play Ortiz at 1st in the WS.

Each league should also have something a bit different about it. Stuff like CG and SHO are something different and so are fielding stats. Experiment, if you don't think they work then next year you'll know. The leagues that had them last year they worked well.

LC, is your league rotis? Cause I think I'll delete mine if that's the case. Or I'll start another H2H league.

Ok, LC has the Rotis League, I changed my league to H2H.

Does anyone have any suggestions about scoring/rosters/ any of that stuff? I just might consider your suggestions.

actually, I won the big league, champ, and did update my team.

And the other league I updated until I had so many injuries on my team by August, that I did stop with the fielders. Always updated the pictchers though.

Good luck with your league though

I'm going to start up a fantasy league shortly. What I'm looking for is the old school guys (Crimson, Adder, RBM, Dave, Moonax, Russ, TIOE, ect) firstly. I'll have room for committed newcomers as well. Since Dave has a H2H already, I'll make this one a rotis.. or whatever you guys would perfer.

That's part of my fear. Too many time I've been in leagues that have people new that you don't know, too many times they join and don't compete. I've joined yours and I'll put mine on hold for the time being. Maybe knock it down to 16 teams though.
