You and your opponent have to have really low stamina. Then you do a move that'll take alot of stamina off of you.

After that, you'll collapse and both of you will be on the canvas in a star shape. Two bars will then appear at each side of the screen (One for you and your opponent) and there will be a little green space in the bars where you'll have to stop an arrow in to regain stamina. Just leave that and let the ref get his 10 count, then you'll both get a double KO.

how exactly do I special them into the casket. I threw them into it so they were sat against it, and I can't use my special, how do I use it?

Store a finisher and take your opponent to the casket. When you are there just keep beating up your opponent until you get another finisher (Now you should have 2 finisher) Then when that happens, do a strong Irish whip to your opponent, whipping him into the middle of the casket. If you've done it right, your opponent should be in the middle of the casket, sitting down. Then you just go over to him and press L1 and L2 and you should do it.

But he can reverse that so you have to be carefull.

With all this talk about casket finishers, I was wondering how many casket specials there are??

I know Undertaker does a powerbomb, Kane does the chokeslam and HBK does a super kick into the casket but does anyone else have a specific casket finisher??

I don't think so.

I've only played Casket Matches as The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and my CAW and Angle and my CAW both powerbombed our opponents into the Casket.

I think the Cruiserweights do something special, I'm not to sure about that though.

Cruiserweights do a bulldog in, HBK does the SCM Kane chokeslams them in, Undertaker last rides them in, and Cena FUs them in.


As for the teddy long storyline, I didnt find out who ran him down until I got to ECW where it was chris jericho who said he did it.

i did a review of the game about a week after buying it (p. 97 this thread). it had positives and negatives - more negatives than positives. now that i have had the game for a few weeks and am a little more familiar with it - my appraisal is more positive than my earlier review. bottom line is that you can just have good, intense matches and the experience is very much like controlling live wrestlers. the season mode is quite good. i especially liked the twist where it turned out to be my character that ran down Teddy Long. so basically, for all intents and purposes N64 No Mercy is out the window.

i havnt even created a superstar yet, because i have been busy "correcting" the move-sets of the existing roster. it is fun to use them once you have "corrected" their move sets because they then really wrestle like the real superstars, and you get a better idea of how to use each wrestler that way. however, it is annoying that the creators of these games do such a poor job putting the move-sets together in the first place. the problem that i forsee as far as creating wrestlers is going to be face-morphing to make a face look like a known wrestler who is not included on the game (like in SDVR 1 ) - it is fucking hard.

the only major problem i have with the game is lack of original (or extra) theme music. they actually had the balls to make two each of the few that they have.

minor problems are as follows:
- in steel cage matches, i am able to climb to the top of the cage, but not climb down the other side - the only movement my wrestler will make from the top of the cage is a diving attack against the opponent.
- i still find the sleeper hold arm raise mini-game to be a bad thing. i press the X button like it says, but the marker just drops as though i am not pressing any button at all. so basically, if i get caught in that situation - game over.
- button wise, i think i can come up with a simpler and better grappling system.

even with these shortcomings, this game is far more entertaining than, say, watching WWE programming.

I'm sorry if I'm being dense but I haven't had this storyline!!

I've only had the RVD/ECW one and was gonna try to get the storyline you get when you blame Cena but this sounds good!!

Whatever you do, don't play against Batista or Cena, they're almost impossible to defeat.

They reverse about 95% of everything and it's impossible for you to reverse there moves.

I was playing against Cena (I was Angle) and he reversed every single Angle Slam and other moves I tried to hit him with. I tried to reverse his moves but I couldn't. I was like a punching bag.

And I was playing against my brother (I was my CAW and my brother was Batista) and I couldn't reverse any of his moves, but my brother reversed ALL of my moves.

I think the only reason Batista and Cena are like that is because they are on the cover of the game.

I won my match against Cena and lost to Batista BTW.

Batista isn't that difficult at all to beat, Cena though is a bitch. Angle and Triple H I find are the hardest to beat.

I'm better than my bro at the game. I've roughly completed about 50% of the game and he has completed about 15%.

I really don't know why he even bothers playing the game, he doesn't even watch anything WWE anymore.

It CAN be done without a second controller, but if you have another one and could do it yourself (using the second pad to do the stolen taunt and the first to interrupt it), it'd be a lot easier.

Reason for this is that the computer RARELY, and I mean RARELY will do a stolen taunt. I've had the game since day one, and I've only seen it once.

I've seen it happen 3 or 4 times always with a heel doing it.

managed to get it done, took a lot of work but here is how I did it.

1. Edited my opponents finishing moves to turnbuckle moves (ie Dudley Dog), this prevents him executing the finisher if you end up groggy or on the mat.

2. When the opponent has his finisher stored, go to town on him and make sure your momentum is high and his is low.

3. Now is the oppurtunity for the opponent to do the stolen taunt. Stay back and let him taunt. When he FINALLY does it interupt it.

I played this challenge on Normal mode and went Undertaker and used Hogan as the CPU.
