Why do you have so much posts in so little time?

Predictions for todays game.

I think it will be 2-1 to Arsenal.
Chelsea will take the lead, through Duff or Robben, whichever's playing, until Arsenal get the goals with Hleb/Ljungberg and Henry.

Oh good, it's on ESPN just they chose not to list it properly or anything. Good to see we've gone back to the gold strips and we're losing in the Community shield which basically means we've got the premiership all sewn up.

Arsenal will not win the league with a defence that poor. They need to invest in an experienced, top class central defender. The rest of their team is as strong as ever.

How many times did a ball over the top or a through-ball (from the half way line no less) catch out Arsenal's defence? Were they even interested in man marking? In a game where Drgoba can score a brace, you know that youre defence has problems.

Drogba is unplayable when he's in that kind of form. I think he has loads of goals in him if he gets his touch and finishing right, as he did at Marseille. Big "if" though. He tore teams apart on his own that season in Europe.

Wooo won a tenner on the footy, £3 on Del Horno for first goal didn't pay off but the £2 on 2-1 did . Got abit pissed and nearly fell over when Drogba scored his first, can't remember for the life of me who scored Arsenals goal or how, think I remember where the ball finished but thats about it.

Great day.

Drogba was quality last season, he turned your lot over at the Bridge too. I don't know what game you are thinking of other then WBA at home fopr us, but he was far from shit. Been immense the last two seasons.

The mosat overpriced Chelsea player is Scott Parker. Drogba is worth every penny for what he brings.

Also the clubs history is something that the clubs fans bring up to try and defend how poor their team is at present.

Leeds have a good history, how does that compare to where they are now?

It means they're still a big club. You are proving my point by using this example if anything. How many times do you hear people calling leeds a big club?Infact how many times did you hear people say west ham are a big club and belong in the premiership even though they were in division 1?Its a status earnt over a period of time, not just from winning one trophy or having a good season.

Firstly, who is the person constantly pointing out that boro won a cup ? what ? o thats right its you, not me. How long has it been since you won anything? At least Boro fans live in Boro, Man U fans live in London but fucking Newcastle fans are living in the past!!!!!!

Secondly my point was that a clubs history does not determine if they are a big club. IMO a big club is a club that achieve's year in year out and constantly win things.

There was a team that won a cup once, they were called Wimbledon, where are they now? Sheffield Wednesday have a good history, are they still a 'big club' ?

I dont know if a moron such as yourself will have heard of the saying 'your only as good as your last game', how many managers will go into a game against Newcastle saying 'look these guys got beat 2-1 in there last game, defensive errors costing them the game, however instead of looking at how we can take advantage of that we will look at the clubs history and plan around the team that won a cup in 19whenever' ???????

it doesnt happen does it. grow up TL your team is not a big team, nor a big club!

You are a stupid little retard. How many times do you hear people saying 'newcastle is a big club' compared to 'middlesborough are a big club'?

Sheffield Wednesday are still a big club, wimbledon no longer exist in the way they did before. So they don't count because there new clubs have no history.

And yes it was me who said you won the trophy, wow, so what?I was using what you've done in recent history in the argument. I was saying that you don't become a big club overnight, you do it over a PERIOD OF TIME. Is that so hard for you to understand?Boro are a mediocre club when it coems to rep/history and whatever else. Newcastle top them as far as the term 'big club' is cocnerned, ask any journalist, ask any 'football expert' they will say exactly the same thing.

Wake up to reality mate, its a harsh world.

Just one more thing though before i finish this post..

Just quoting the last point of your post: "I dont know if a moron such as yourself will have heard of the saying 'your only as good as your last game', how many managers will go into a game against Newcastle saying 'look these guys got beat 2-1 in there last game, defensive errors costing them the game, however instead of looking at how we can take advantage of that we will look at the clubs history and plan around the team that won a cup in 19whenever' ???????'

You may be a better team than us now, but that doesn't mean your a bigger club.I am not going to explain this again to a retard such as yourself. The fact you say were not a big club at all is fucking laughable. Its impossible to try and have an intelligent conversation about football when retards like you don't understand football.I would even say Sunderland are a bigger club than boro by the way, and im not joking. Look at their history compared to yours.

On a slightly more interseting note:

Ref says sorry to the fans

Aug 8 2005

By Evening Gazette

A German referee who admitted fixing football matches has apologised to Boro fans for testing his scam on the club.
Robert Hoyzer, 25, said he tested a money-spinning match rigging plan when Boro lost 3-1 to Hansa Rostock in a pre-season friendly in Germany last summer.
He claimed it was the first fixture where he deliberately intervened with decisions to influence the game in an experiment to see how easy it was to affect a result.
At the time, Boro fans' websites were swamped with claims that the referee was dodgy. Hoyzer, who later admitted 'fixing' a number of German league and cup games, has now publicly apologised to Teesside supporters.
"I'm very sorry and I hope in spite of this that they (Boro fans) will still keep travelling away to watch their team," he said in an interview this weekend.
"Once again I would like to offer my profuse apologies to the fans."
Hoyzer admitted fixing a number of matches in Germany after he was arrested in January. He could now face criminal charges that could see him jailed for up to ten years.
Rob Nichols, editor of Boro's Fly Me To The Moon fanzine, said: "In all my time supporting Boro, this is the most bizarre story I have ever heard.
"It is like something out of a comic. His apology isn't good enough though. It is amazing to think that someone could use our friendly to try this out."
It is claimed Hoyzer was receiving payments from a Croatian betting syndicate.
Hoyzer registered as a referee in 2003 but his career came to an abrupt end in January 2005.
He was suspected of betting on a German Cup tie between regional league side Paderborn and Bundesliga club Hamburger SV on August 21, 2004, which Paderborn won 4-2.
He resigned as a referee and was banned for life by the German Football Association.

Doink, i advise you to read this page under the section 'north east' it says newcastle are the biggest club in england, then sunderland. And it has facts to prove why that is. Go read and learn some fucking football history.

Yes there it is, yet again you refer to the history of the club. TL why dont you go jump off the tyne bridge and die you stupid fuckin inbred gordie piece of shite!

If you actually read my interpretation of what I class as a 'big club' you will see newcastle fall well short of this criteria (as do sunderland & boro).

Yet again I have to tell you it doesnt matter what your team did back in the day as it has FUCK ALL to do with how good they are now!

The best team in the northeast by far last year was not newcastle, sunderland or boro, it was hartlepool.

Now go take your thumb out of your arse and learn some football knowledge you fucking dicknose!

LOL,this is what you asked me to read :

The North-East
The north-east of England has experienced some exciting times in football, but most of that excitement was an age ago.

Newcastle United are perhaps the biggest club in the north-east of England. They last won the league championship in 1927, although they were strong title contenders in the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons and finished runners-up both times - in 1995-96 they led for most of the season by a comfortable margin before being overhauled by Manchester United. The last major trophy to grace the St James's Park boardroom was the 1969 UEFA Cup, and no domestic trophies have been lifted by the club since the 1955 F.A Cup

Yeh last league title of the 'PERHAPS' biggest club in the northeast was in 1927 and last lifted a cup in 1955, to quote again from what you asked me to read, i give you :

The north-east of England has experienced some exciting times in football, but most of that excitement was an AGE AGO.

So acording to this, winning a trophy is not exciting. Is this even an english artical? are you even english? Do you support newcastle based on this artical???

LOL, Doink, your ridiculous. Did you not see the part 'newcastle are perhaps the biggest club in the north east?"

And now iot's time to slice your argument up till it no longer exists, you said:

"The best team in the northeast by far last year was not newcastle, sunderland or boro, it was hartlepool."

HA, you are talking about the best team where as i am talking about the biggest club. There is a huge difference between the two. if you want to say who the best team in the north east last year, the newcastle would be last on the list. But that is not part of my argument, Newcastle may not have the BEST TEAM but we are still the BIGGEST CLUB in the north east. If boro or sunderland have a success over a period of time that gets past what weve done, then they will be bigger clubs than us, but so far they haven't done that.

You also said:

"Yet again I have to tell you it doesnt matter what your team did back in the day as it has FUCK ALL to do with how good they are now!"

And yet again i'm telling you it does matter, fuck sake.Best team/big club are two different things that your getting confused with .

You also said:

"So acording to this, winning a trophy is not exciting. Is this even an english artical? are you even english? Do you support newcastle based on this artical???"

I have supported newcastle for ten years you stupid retard. How does that article say that winning trophy is not exciting?Funny you should say i'm not english when you can't even spell properly.

Isnt he about 35 now? I think he will do alright for them, however IMO i dont think they will avoid the drop. Ellington will score a few goals and get into double figures but Roberts wont score enough. Kavanagh I meet him in whitby a few years ago, his mrs was mint back then!!

Doink have you heard the term "sleeping giant".

This refers to big clubs who are in lower divisions and yet are still big. See Wolves, Nottingham Forrest and Manchester City a few years ago. A club doesn't have to be succesful to be big. Good day to you sir.

So why are both yourself and TL throwing up the history of newcastle as a back up for them being an alleged 'big club' ??

anyway all this started because I said Jenas for boro, he's not even that good a player, now like any good fisherman knows, you have to throw the little tiddlers back so packt up and TL get yourself back in the pond, i'm done with both of you on this matter!

Packt up was talking shit. You do have to be successful to be a truly big club.People get mixed up between 'best teams'/'big clubs' too much.

God enough of the retarded Boro - Newcastle argument. Neither of you are doing anything this year and Newcastle are a far bigger side.

You know what gets me about Newcastle? How everyone goes on about how their fans "deserve sucess". How the hell do they deserve anything or deserve more than fans of say Hull, Rotherham or Plymouth? They deserve what they get. Fuck all.

Don't know how Newcastle are any bigger than Boro. Nobody outside the North East of England gives a toss about either
