Well as someone who has stuck up for Sven a lot in the past i can only say this:

why the fuck is Walcott going ahead of the likes of Bent? He may have bags of potential but christ, at least wait until he's played a premiership game. I saw him for Southampton here in November and Gerrbrand had him in his pocket pretty much the whole time, and that's a defender who's been quite poor since December. Walcott had no concept of timing his runs either.

Quite pleased Aaron Lennon is in ahead of SWP though. Carson or Kirkland should be going ahead of Green too, but i suppose that's not vital.

I wouldn't quite agree that we will have "nothing going forward" since in Frank Lampard we have aruguably one of the best goalscoring midfielders in the world, who scores more than a lot of strikers. Plus Gerrard, Joe Cole and Beckham who can all chip in with goals.

Their stats for this season:
Lampard: 20 goals (Chelsea's top scorer)
Gerrard: 21 goals (Liverpool's top scorer)
Joe Cole: 10 goals

Rooney got 19 goals this season.

But the party atmosphere was quality.

The Liverpool fans were absolute shite for some reason, I have no idea why, they didn't even rise to the bait that most fans rise to (shall we sing a song for you, can you hear the scousers sing, do you ever sing at all?) just sat there in silence. So the Pompey fans start belting out a chrous of "You'll Never Walk Alone" for them

The other good chants included:
Quashie's gone down again, Quashie's gone down again.
We don't want Quashie back, we don't want Quashie back
We don't want Heskey, we don't want Heskey
We want Gerrard, we want Gerrard
We want D'Alessandro, we want D'Alessandro
We don't care, we don't care, we don't care (after Liverpool had scored)
Off the pitch, off the pitch, off the pitch (when the Liverpool team decided to do a warm down, delaying our lap of honour)
Plus a load of shite Crouch got every time he ran infront of the home end doing his warm down.
and "who nicked your laces, who nicked your laces?" when Graham Poll kept stopping to piss about with his boots, he responded by giving us a thumbs up which was quite funny too.

Typical end of season game, boring as fuck mostly, but well done lads on a good finish to the season.

I bet you didn't have a better Crouch song then ours, 'He's tall, he's shit, he doesn't fit his kit.' and does the circus know your here.

Did Dale see your Argie top?

Also Gerrard scoring 21 is a shit arguement and you know it, TNS for fuck sake. Lampard shoots way too much, anything less then 20 goals would be a dissapointment, at one point he'd had over FOUR times as many shots as Crespo and scored two more. Think he'd had 58 shots at the time, it's about learning when to shoot, and Lampard hasn't grasped that yet, he literally shoots as often as he can, even when he knows it's got no chance of going anywhere

I reckon he'll score, but any good manager will just tell the defence and midfielders to step up and press the England midfield, they aren't gonna be able to hit 25 yarders under constant pressure, and they wont have a quick striker with good positional sense to break the offside trap (at least not 100% fit, on the ball strikers)

UEFA Final should be fun, Sevilla are decent and will probably go 2-3 up before McClaren decides to throw everything forward for the last 20 minutes.

At least, that's going on the last couple rounds.

Yeah, probably. UEFA Cup finals are generally pretty entertaining. More so IMO than the last few Champions League finals (exception being last year, of course)

This year's Champions League final is salivating though, but it will probably be 0-0 till the 114th minute .

The BBC site only had goals in all competitions, I am not that arsed to go looking for his league goals tally. Plus he didn't score all 21 goals against TNS did he?

And I know Lampard shoots too much and I know anyone with sense would pressure him to stop him but the thing is, he still scores and teams don't do that to him.

I'm not denying that losing Rooney is a blow but it is ridiculous to claim that we're nothing without him, England are far from being a one man team. The keeper is decent, the defence contain some of the best players in Europe, as does the midfield which as i've already said is more than capable of scoring the odd goal.

I don't think we'll win the world cup but some of you are going proper over the top.

Would any of you be saying "oooh Brazil are fucked, they'll be lucky to get out of their group." if Ronaldinho got crocked, or "Argentina will get found out as soon as they come up against anyone decent" if Messi got injured? No, because they have more than enough decent squad players to fill in.

Assuming I know what he's talking about, Ronaldo and RvN (who apparently can't stand each other and have gotten into a fight before) had a fight on the training ground. It all resulted in RvN telling CR to run to his Daddy (referring to Carlos Querioz). Ronaldo's Dad died this season and he apparently burst into tears and yelled "I haven't got a Dad, he's dead".

I've also heard that this might not be the end of RvN but apparently Ronaldo is desperate to leave.

From what I heard, there were no tears and they had to be pulled apart.

No, Dale didn't see my shirt. I told you before, everyone ignores the corner i am sat in and everyone did, apart from Toddy.

But some guys had a big Argentina flag and everyone started singing his name, so I think he gets the point that we want to keep him.

Apparently, United have signed a pair of twins from Brazil, 1 who plays left back, the other right back. Could be sweet. If these pair ever turned out to be good enough, surely it would be a first (twins in 1st class professional football)

Check it out here

Maccarone used to get some real laughs out of that name.

Dooks and JFH starting up front, looks to be a traditional 4-4-2. Loving the Schwarzer Batman mask, too.
