I just realized this about the Money In The Bank match
It was for the World Heavyweight title, not the WWE title. They made that very clear at that contract signing. Now WWE forgetting that aside what do you belive will happen?

Nah there doing it so its for the WWE title because Edge still carried the breifcase out to matchs after Batista got traded and JR and King were saying how he could use it any time he wanted...

nah i doubt it ecko, there was some talk about how edge wouldn't be able to use it if he got drafted to smackdown since the world title isn't there, during some promo

After the titles switched shows, JR made a comment during an Edge match (in which he brought the briefcase with him) that Edge could still use the "Money In The Bank" title shot anytime he wanted. After Cena beats Angle (which he will ), I have a feeling that they will have Cena v Edge @ Survivor Series.

All depending on how long they drag the Edge/Hardy fued out (one more PPV I would imagine).

JR is an idiot sometimes

the contract was clearly for the world heavyweight title, but wwe will probably forget that, i'm hoping it's Just a mistake on JR's part tho

I think Edge should be able to use the contract anytime he wants. Edge wouldn't have been able to use it on SmackDown! because it is a different General Manager. Teddy Long never sanctioned the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Eric Bischoff did.

Think about it, if you are Eric Bischoff, and you make a match where the winner gets a title shot on any RAW sanctioned event up to, and including, WrestleMania 22, would you discredit that title shot simply because there is a different Championship belt on RAW? Teddy Long probably would just to shit all over RAW, but Eric Bischoff holds the power in his hands, and I seriously doubt he would screw one of his employees out of a RAW World Title shot that they earned, especially when he wants Cena to lose the WWE Title.

That's in a kayfabe sense, though. The real WWE writers are idiots and probably have forgotten who Edge is.

Do you mean the WWE forgetting he has a title shot, or the WWE forgetting it was originally for Batista's World Heavyweight Championship? If it is the latter, I think it can be explained with the scenario I gave (Eric Bischoff sanctions the match, he doesn't care about the technicalities). If it is the former, then I think the WWE will remember, because if they don't they are fucking idiodic.

They can say that the contract is for a general title match. No matter what title was on which show. (They had to plan the draft thing long before they drew up the MITB match... well... I hope they planned it out that way)

i remember them saying it was for the world heavyweight title, and that if edge moved, the world heavyweight title would still be on raw, not that he'd be dealing with teddy instead of bischoff. i duno, maybe i'm wrong, but i'm still pretty damn sure about it.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. What I meant, though, is that if Edge went over to SD!, it would be up to Teddy Long whether he allowed Edge to get a SmackDown! World Title shot whenever he wanted. As long as Edge remains on RAW, I'm pretty sure Eric Bischoff would grant Edge his title shot whether it be World Heavyweight or WWE.

Leading up to the next ppv, have Bischoff constantly plan and scheme against Cena... Have Angle be sort of meh about the whole thing. Eventually have Angle snap at Bischoff, saying he can do it himself.

Come the ppv.. HAve Bischoff interfere at one point, but have Angle get pissed off and knock him out. Then have Angle lock on the ankle lock... Pull an Austin/Hart here and have Cena not give up. Have him screaming in pain, totally red faced, etc, etc. Although it's a tad unrealistic, have Angle "snap" Cena's ankle. Have Cena keep fighting, and eventually get out. From there, have Cena maybe try an FU, but totally buckle as his ankle is broken... Angle goes back to the ankle lock, and eventually the ref stops the fight. Cena begs for the fight to go on, but the ref won't let it.

Angle wins... He starts celebrating, does the whole Olympical Ceremony esque victory, only for Edge to come in and spear him right off the chair.... Edge smokes Kurt with the chair, uses the contract, and pins him...

THen we have Face Kurt vs Heel Edge. (Kurt and Edge do have great chemistry, and with Kurt being the face, it'll freshen things up.) In the long run, I'd keep the belt on Kurt.. Til Mania.

Then when Cena comes back down the road, have him realize that Jericho was right. Have him sell out to the fame, blah blah blah, become a dick, and go corporate, but still act like he's a "thug." Then have heel Cena vs Face Kurt at WM, with Cena getting the belt back.

Three things could happen:

1. Edge realizes that he can not have a title shot on Raw because it states in the contract 'WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT' so Edge moves to Smackdown and wins the title.

2. Edge gets a title shot anyway, and at Survivor Series, he meets Christian and gives him the Money in the Bank Title shot.

3. They just ignore the fact it was for the 'WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT' title and Edge uses it to face Raw's champion.
