So glad pro perks aren't tied to game modes in this. Hated that shit so much in Black Ops. However, I'm disappointed they didn't carry over the playercard system from Black Ops

They are absolutely way too small. Even the larger maps aren't big enough. It could be because everyone is new and hasn't learned the maps yet (and they're also really stupid) but I am constantly running into and getting stuck behind two teammates. One small gripe Requiem had with a few of the maps in Black Ops were the small areas of "wasted space". The wasted space in these maps blow the ones in Blops out of the water. It is so stupid and unnecessary. There are also not enough climb-ables in the game. Cant climb on a dumpster, can't climb on pallets, can't climb into the hollowed out jet engine in the airplane hanger. Which is essentially, more wasted space.

BUT, on that flip side, perhaps they made these maps this way so that you're constantly in action. With the new killstreak system, there's always shit going down and everyone has a killstreak up their sleeve to counter someone else's. It can get a bit hectic at times.

If you're a COD vet, you can figure out these changes within a few games. Whether or not you can adapt is up to you. Personally, I don't really like the multiplayer on here and I won't be spending as much time in it as I did others. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's not for me.

And I don't think it would be for you either, Fallen Angel. My recommendation to you would be to not buy it.

That said, I can't wait to play with you in about a week.

So far I have no complaints. I think the game is pretty balanced, the maps are smaller enough to keep pace high, and that's why I choose cod over battlefield. Nothing wrong with bf, i just know comparing the two is apples and oranges, and i enjoy the "on your toes" pace of the modern warfare.

First round all of our opponets were up to level 30 at least. 1 guy was up in the 60's.

You realize if you prestiged in the past 4 games, you could get 8 hours of double xp from the second you started MW3 right? I played for less then an hour launch night and was lvl20 because of it.

I don't like the sound of the constant stream of DLC. I only want to pay for this fucking game once, not have to keep pumping money through it to be able to enjoy a bit of fine multiplayer action.

Obviously no one is forcing me to buy it and I'm not going to. What I dislike is being told from the outset that this game is basically planning to release more parts of it over the next year. I would rather buy the entire game at the outset because it is already expensive enough. I don't like the idea that they have held back parts to wring even more money out of people. I also would prefer they work on ironing out any bugs they have shipped the game with, rather than on more ways to get customers to shell out. Match-making had serious diffs in both MW2 and Blops and the DLC added to it, in my opinion.
