The fact that he mentioned Laurinitis (sp) was just for smarks and nobody else. I think they are working the IWC more than anyone. If you think about it they have been trying to outfox the IWC a lot more in the last 12-18 months, this is just the best thing they have ever done. They know we will discuss it to death and we will have no answer by the end of it until it all plays out. I think the WWE deserves huge credit for this

Building up CM Punk as the biggest thing in wrestling, and then letting him go to ROH would be stupid. Also, there has been talk about Punk's contract coming up for the longest time. The WWE could have easily jobbed out Punk. But as it gets closer they put him in a fucking title match?

I think this is definitely a huge work (Punk just took some extra liberties in his promo JUST FOR KICKS)

This will all build up to CM Punk vs. Triple Doofus at SummerSlam, like I thought this was the original plan anyways, according to James FUCKING Steele's thread

Out of all the guys on the roster, Punk is the best one to convince Doofus and Vince to think outside the box and make things edgier.

Cena has no balls to do that, he just goes along with whatever Vince wants him to do. He won't even take charge of his own character.

Punk is smarter than everyone on the roster, and this is proof. (A punk is someone who goes up against authority, right?)

also, I don't know why Punk would be legitimately bitter at WWE though. He came in and became a 3 time WH Champ or whatever (in such a short period), so why should he still be angry at that? Plus he got a good run as a heel with SES

I can see him getting frustrated with stuff recently, but overall, the guy doesn't have anything to be bitter about. His WWE career has been successful in my eyes. A storybook career. MITB winner twice.

From what I've heard, he was treated like shit and miserable when he first started. Also, from what I've heard him say, he seems like a guy who really doesn't like the fame. He seems to be a very "leave me the fuck alone if you see me in public" type guy. That, mixed with his perceived misuse, mainly the company not getting behind him, I can see where he might not be happy... Unhappiness tends to lead to bitterness against the entity you perceive to be causing it.

Not saying it's all justified, if it' true, but I could see him being legitimately bitter.
