By "other than Orton and Bryan" you really just mean Orton right? DB has been fine. I agree for the most part though but when the other pieces are veterans like Triple H, Big Show, Golddust, Stephanie McMahon how can you compete?

I love how they have kept Cena and Punk as far away from the Corporation story as possible. I hope this trend continues for a long time to come. They will simply clog the face side and then it would be impossible for Daniel Bryan to seem like the top guy with them in it.

I loved this whole storyline early on but now it's just boring. Here's hoping they shift focus for Survivor Series.

Yeah, it's running a bit thin now.

I'm sure at Survivor Series we'll see Bryan/Big Show/Rhodes & Goldust vs Orton & The Shield in a traditional Survivor Series Match or something like that.

I don't see what the problem is. They want us to despise Randy Orton and Triple H. They have consistently found ways to screw the fan favorite out of "his moment in the sun". Daniel Bryan is still over as fuck and probably going to get a huge Survivor Series match. He'll then be denied another title match by "The Authority" only to get the classic formula of over coming the odds at the Royal Rumble and going on to WrestleMania to finally get his crowning achievement.

I get what you're saying, but the way they've been booking it, in my opinion, in the long term almost makes me not care about it anymore.

Long-term booking is tricky, obviously, but I would have loved more scenarios where Bryan seemed to have some type of upperhand on the authority. It just doesn't feel that way.

It's just so boring at this point and there is no payoff. People are going to start tuning out. A Shawn Michaels heel turn got almost no reaction. That might tell you something. We have to suffer through more Orton and Triple H on at every waking moment. Enough is enough. We've been given so much crap the past couple of months, if there's no payoff then we're just sitting around in boredom and self pity for no reason. By the time the payoff comes, everyone isn't going to care.

HBK didn't necessarily turn heel. That is what is interesting. Was it all a big plan to screw Daniel Bryan or did HBK just react to DB kneeing HHH in the face? HBK didn't turn heel after helping HHH almost end The Streak in HIAC. HBK could superkick a baby with a ice skate on and still wouldn't be a true heel.

I don't think it was a heel turn either, and while it adds a small level of depth (being that HBK was literally JUST introduced into this storyline), it's not enough for me to personally keep optimism in terms of a shift of how Bryan has looked. I get the underdog thing, just doesn't seem all that interesting anymore. Truthfully, I didn't expect the payoff to come at HIAC, but still.

The Bryan vs. Orton build to Hell in the Cell was a lose/lose for the WWE. If Bryan won, Bryan "defied the odds" and it wouldn't be a shock. If Orton won, HHH gets more X-Pac heat no matter how he got the victory.

That was a pretty good PPV overall. I really enjoyed it, from top to bottom it was very solid, way better than the last couple of PPVs. I hated seeing HBK superkick Bryan though, I was like seriously, WTF?

I was expecting the abeyance to continue until Survivor Series for a Deadly Games tournament. With all of people getting pushed around the Corporation angle it would have been a great match up. Like WWFan said the minor characters in this feud are being pushed great.

Jabba and Afterlife are really the only two TNA fanatics really but none of us hate TNA, nor should we. It's as solid wrestling program. People get really odd about TNA and tend to get swept up in some weird tard storm of "lol TNA" because it is fashionable to do so, but it really isn't a bad program.

The Tables, Ladders, & Podcast does have some fucked up logic. Having Hulk Hogan at the center of every major storyline for 2 years is fine because he doesn't actually wrestle, but still is made to look strong. Triple H being an on-air authority figure is horrible because we still can't stop our vaginas from bleeding about 2003.

I've rallied against Hogan being on television from the beginning. Ive always thought it was awful. But Triple H is seriously so awful right now. It's just too much.. Him. It's just too much. I'm still interested because I have no clue where the HBK thing is going, and I want to see where it goes. It adds another emotional layer to the whole thing. Bryan/Orton isn't the "final destination" of this whole thing. I believe that Triple H putting over Daniel Bryan will be the marquee moment that cements Daniel Bryan. Orton is just the pawn right now. They could easily have Orton fuck up at Survivor Series and lose favor with "The Authority".
