Raw was bad, it wasn't good, it was just bad. A snore fest, but the y2J/Orton match was at least decent. The only thing that saved teh forsaken show. And what is the big idea with Edge? It's more than mind boggling and crazy. It's just weird and doesn't seem fitting.

Edges push possibly, also the splitting of Evolution could come from this. Edge could be the one that takes out HHH when HHH leaves to do that movie. There are many possibilities coming from the Edge angle. I think it fits in perfect, He's already been feuding with Orton, He took on Batista and Flair and took there titles so all thats really left is HHH. Now I hope Edge isnt doing this alone because that would make him seem more like a Stone Cold character. I see Edge being backed by Benoit and Benjamin possibly Regal as well.

Dark Match:

*Mike Bucci (aka Nova) defeating Rising Sun

Sunday Night Heat:

*Maven pinned Chuck Palumbo with rollup as Palumbo argued with the referee in about 8 minutes.

*Hurricane & Rosey defeated two unannounced competitors in about 10 minutes after Hurricane used a version of the shining wizard.

*William Regal, who received a huge reaction, pinned Steven Richards. Richards worked heel and wasn't dressed in drag.

What Happened After RAW Went Off The Air; More Notes


Just a few more notes/corrections to the results I called in earlier:

*The unannounced jobbers were developmental talent from OVW, as the locals were advised on Saturday that their services would not be needed. Rising Sun was actual Wavell Star, wow the Fink is hard to understand some times. Wavell is a worker from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Off Air Notes:

*After Raw went off the air, Benoit and Edge cut promos about their upcoming matches on Sunday. Lots of cheap pops about being Canadian and mentioning Canadian beer. The night ended with an ovation for Benoit draped in the Canadian flag, followed by Edge leading the crowd in a "Go Jets Go" chant. (The Jets are now the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL, and beloved to the city of Winnipeg). You can tell that Edge was happy to get that reaction, I'm sure it's a thousand times better then his days touring northern Manitoba.

*Nothing special, the crowd was really hot. I don't know if it came off well on TV, but the crowd was turning on Eugene. I see a lot of parallels between Eugene and the Rock as to overexposure. But I might be wrong. Oh and by the way Ric Flair is the man. He does all the little things to play it up to the crowd. His face-plant shtick got one of the biggest pops of the night. He is the best wrestler of all time because he is the best entertainer of all time.

Well, another RAW is in the books. I really enjoyed Eugene's musical chairs to get a title shot. They should let him book all the matches. We could see a bicycle race around the ring, duck duck goose, hide and go seek............

HHH calling out God, who didn't see that coming? Even though God is the most over babyface, everyone seems to fall to HHH's pedigree of doom.

WTF is wrong with Canadians??? They boo their own national anthem, then they boo a retard when he hit one of their own. Look at it this way...Eugene was in a team vs Benoit and Edge....he was supposed to fight against them. And since I am a proud American, I can't see myself booing our national anthem, no matter who it is sung by. Some people really haven't done a great job at singing it in the past, but I didn't boo them.

And lastly, these PPV's seem to be coming too quick. As of last night, there were only 5 matches listed. And 4 of them actually had a little story behind them. But just like GAB, it appears they are just gonna throw 3-4 matches on the card to make it complete.

I like the idea of Eugene being manager for a day, he'd probably do better than that Bishoff asshole. This should be interesting. And as for the Triple H and Eugene feud, I find it a bit stupid that Triple H is still trying to be friends with Eugene even though he's got his shot at the world heavyweight title. It's not like him to be friends just for the sake of being friends, exept with evolution
