Apart from Liverpool, all our other home games are winable.Since the Chelsea game at home to the end of the season Leicester's home games are:

Aston Villa
Bolton
Wolves
Everton
Liverpool
Fulham
Man City
Portsmouth

I'm not confident of winning any of them now.

I guess rant wasn't over,sorry.

You forget who they were shouting at, it was the family enclosure, I'm willing to bet 75% of the people there would have been offended by it.

Of course, Neville says his piece, and comes of as a complete dickhead in my eyes "What do you expect us to do?" he says, well for one thing, your a bloody professional and supposed to be a role-model, you can celebrate a goal without yelling at the opposition's supporters, worse yet, kids.

Just because you've been getting stick from the fans, you've still got to be professional, grin and bare it "yes, you've been giving me stick all day but ive just scored, we're going to beat you, I make more in a week than you make in 5 years." They shouldn't run over to the opposition fans and taunt them, its unprofessional.

Ok, I looked into the guy attacking Ronaldo, and I still don't see how that justifies the actions of the United players. If a fan is able to attack a player, it is the fault of the security for not dealing with the situation. 1 idiotic fan does not therefore constituate every fan in the ground.

Look Rob, we've been through that, but this is different, Wayne Bridge never abused your fans, he just ran in front of them and celebrated, whether he was celebrating to the above two tiers of Chelsea fans, or the lower teir of your fans remains a mystery. . But he never hurled any abuse at the fans, therefor, he didn't provoke them, he gave as good as he got.

When Chelsea played Boro a few years ago, Ince went down in the box, but it wasn't a foul, and one of the Chelsea fans (in the family stand) shouted 'It wasn't his fault, he tripped over his ego' and then Ince turned round and stuck his middle finger up at us. Some people cared, some people didn't, but he was wrong to do it because there were kids about.

When we played Arsenal a few seasons ago, we did the usual 'lets all do the Seamen', now, this was in his less witty days, where he simply turned around with a big smile on his face and stuck two fingers up at us. everyone clapped him for it, and no one cared, because everyone likes David Seamen.

The point I am making, is that it depends on who the players are aswell, alot of people do not like Gary Neville or Roy Keane, so they are going to be annoyed.

When we sung 'Posh Spice takes in up the arse' against United, and then Beckham scored a free kick, he ran over and slid in front of use with his hands at his ears as if you say 'lets hear what you have to say now', and ALL the Chelsea fans got annoyed, I too was pissed off, but we had it coming.
All three incidents happened in the family stand.

The fans acted more angrily to Beckham, then they did to Ince or Seamen, because in general, no one likes United, and this was before everyone was kissing his arse.

Bolton's Sam Allardyce has explained the way in which he exploited the change in the offside law to claim a share of the points against Leicester City.
Bolton used a system of placing players in obvious offside positions but then running back, taking advantage of Fifa's ruling change.

The system caused Leicester all kinds of problems - and the equalising goal came directly from such a set-piece.

"We've had a look at the new regulations and we have got to use them to our benefit," said an apologetic Allardyce.

"I don't like them and I think they detract from the game, but it is not the referee's fault he has to implement them and I blame Fifa.

"They have to change them, but in the mean time we have to use them to our advantage.

"It doesn't add anything to the game and it leave players and fans upset and angry.

"What we have done today doesn't look good to the fans but it makes it hard for the opposition. I think it shows the rule up to be honest."

This is different IMO, because Beckham was not yelling obsenities at you, it was more of a "How do you like that?" kind of thing, it wasn't a nasty thing to do, unlike Keane, Neville and Ronaldo, who were making obscene gestures.

If they apologised for their actions, explaining how you get caught up in the heat of the moment, or just something to explain their actions and attempt to defuse the situation, rather than some complete bollocks that Neville comes up with about "we're celebrating, so we have to go and yell at people, swear, make obscene gestures" (ok, he didn't say this, but by not apologising and by what he's said, he's seemingly justifying it as an ok thing to do), if they did apologise, I'm sure everything would be fine, but then United aren't gonna get off their high horse, cos they can do whatever they want.

Actually it was reported that he used foul language, i dunno how true that was but you could see he was definatly shouting towards the away fans. He also had his hands raised and shook his fists. He also ran the entire distance of the pitch, away from the goal, away from the home fans to the touchline where the away fans were and celebrated, he was still doing it when the other players dragged him away.

If that isn't acting provocitively, i dunno what was. He could've just celebrated his first premiership goal for Chelsea with the Chelsea fans, or if he was that desperate to make a point, he could've done something simple like putting his finger to his lips and shhhing.

He was over the top and he was provocative. Which was unprofessional. Like ive said to you before, its understandable but its still unprofessional.

That was the point I was trying to make, maybe I didn't make it clear.

What I meant was we got more annoyed over Beckhams celebration then when players swore at us, because of who it was not because of who he is.

I think that the Everton fans are probably the same, because its Keane and Neville, they want to see something happen.

I could respond to this, but I would just be repeating myself from convos that I have had with you.

But, for the record, he ran HALF of the WIDTH of the pitch, nowhere near as bad as what you said, but yes, he could have just celebrated in front of us. If Bridge did yell things, then I would agree with you, but otherwise, I think that your fans had it coming. Just like the Chelsea fans had it coming when we took the piss out of Beckham.

I'm not sure, I mean, it really really does depend on the situation.

In the case here, Keane, Neville, Ronaldo, whoever, were yelling at the family stand, and I think genuinly offended some people, it's hard to say, because we don't know exactly who made the statements, who they were at the match with, etc.... but it still doesn't forgive those players for doing what they did, I doubt these people would make false statements to the police unless they felt something warranted it, even if its not an arrestable offence, whatever they did, if they are swearing at fans and making gestures, then they need to be punished.

Agreed, I think that the players were wrong, and way out of order, but I still think that the Everton fans made a bigger deal about it because it was United players, they would have been just as pissed if it was Liverpool players. But I think it would be interesting to see their reaction to a team like Portsmouth or Leicester.

Oh, about The Liquidator btw; years ago I used to buy Total Football magazine, and one issue they gave away a CD with a few football songs on, whether they be unofficial anthems or fan-written songs ('Julian Dicks: The Terminator' ) - I *THINK* I have it buried at home somewhere. I'm going back not this weekend but the one after, so I'll have a look and if I find it I'll rip a copy of Liquidator for y'all, cause it was definitely on there.

Surely not those red angels from Manchester?

I thought it was only those naughty boys from Arsenal ever did things like this.

Go tell Alex not to hang around that nasty Arsene any more..

The fact that Ronaldo was nearly attacked by a fan right before the supposed incident seems to of gone un-noticed I take it.

Complaints could be made each and every week about 'offensive' celebrations or gestures. If we want to become more like the U.S and complain about petty incidents like this, then these Evertonian no-marks are doing a damn good job. Ronaldo was also pelted with plastic bottles - tell me if you wouldn't react to that?

If the United players did something wrong, then they should be punished - but from where I'm sitting, it seems another bandwagon has been built for United-haters to jump on and have their dig.

I said in a previous post, that the security should have dealt with the fan who went for Ronaldo, and I'm sure that he was removed from the ground, it is the security's issue to deal with anything like that, and again its making one fans actions the supposed actions of 30,000

The whole point here is that the United players have run across and yeld obscenties and used offensive gestures, I would agree that players use provocative celebrations most games, but their is a huge difference between, as in the case previously of David Beckham, and the case we are talking about here. I have said it on a number of occasions, this is extremely unprofessional behaviour, from players who are supposed to be role-models.

Footballers have always had to put up with HUGE amounts of stick from any fans, all over the country, and all over the globe. Take this point, Chelsea vs Beskitas, and absolute fucking disgrace that the fans could act like that, did Chelsea start syelling at the Beskitas fans? No. It happens all over the place, and players are pelted with bottles and coins all over the place, and they get on with it, why should United be any different?

I don't disagree with players celebrating wildly, as long as they are not shouting abuse at fans, and most importantly, not in-front of kids.

The United players have done something wrong, if they've hurled abuse at the crowd, then they are breaking F.A rules, they have been unprofessional, have, as I've said a million times, they've broken the biggest thing that clubs set out to do, and that is be role-models for children and people in general.

Maybe it is another bandwagon, but I don't think you can deny, that United keep bringing these things upon themselves with the actions of the players, the manager, and the boardroom.

The 50 or so people who filed a complaint. If nothing happened, then they are all liable for fines.
