I personally think it's a smart idea to end RAW with a cliffhanger. Even if it ends up HHH retains, it's a smart move for this week, since it'll generate more interest next week. Of course, they'll have to figure out how to KEEP it, but we'll see how it goes. If they can spin HHH off onto a main event, non-title feud with Batista, that saves them an angle and addes a match for Wrestlemania, since it'd be HHH vs Batista and then the world title match as well.

Yep. You don't say.

Jericho gets screwed again. Instead of Seeing Jericho Vs HHH next week, we'll probably see a four way or some stupid shit like that in which HHH retains.

I have to say that after reading this I'm not totally sure as to the ending at all still. And the only real highlight of the show was the return of Vicky

RAW was fairly interesting. We finally saw the Maven heel turn, more of a tease in the Evolution breakup, and a cliffhanger ending.

I was at a friends house to watch it, and he's a huge Christian fan. He even bought a little cake and put Happy Birthday Christian on it.

Well, I guess WWE is pulling out some old tricks, to end the show on a cliffhanger, which I don't remember the last time was. But if HHH retains, it would be just like last week, only a week shorter. But they got my attention, because I really don't want to wait a week to find out who the champion is.

The last cliffhanger I can remember is HHH calling Kane a "murderer". Those were some good times.

What a great ending to RAW.

Personally, I don't think Triple H is going to be involved in the World Title decision next week, for a few reasons. First, Jericho is the GM. He hates Triple H (storyline wise) and will probably book a World Title match involving himself, Edge, and/or Benoit. Secondly, JR said it himself: "We KNOW we have a NEW World Heavyweight Champion, the question is, who is it?!" Triple H was outside the ring, sitting in the fans when the decision was made. He isn't even in the picture anymore. It's Benoit or it's Edge.

Personally, I think they're going to end up giving it to Benoit and having Jericho vs. Benoit for the World Title on RAW. Edge's character is finally building some momentum and getting over with the crowd. This whole "I keep getting screwed out of the World Title!" thing is kind of working for him, and after what happened last night, he's only going to have even more heat to build off of. What's better than "Not only did you people not vote for me at Taboo Tuesday when I SHOULD have had my first title shot, but I got screwed out of my World Title victory when I pinned Chris Benoit 1-2-3!"

Only good things can come of this angle, and with any luck, none of them will involve Triple H.

However, you've gotta wonder if Vince McMahon is taking heed of Pat Patterson's dying words: "HHH is ruining the WWE." By having both Benoit's and Edge's music played with them holding the belt, it's like he gauging the crowd's reaction to see how they would like someone else at the helm of RAW.

But, let's face facts, this is only going to last 2 months at the most before Triple H is the undisputed World Heavyweight Champion again. It's going to be Randy Orton vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 21, and we all know it.

I surely hope we have a new champion. It does indeed look/sound that way. Plus, having 4 of HHH's enemies running RAW for four weeks and having him always coming out on top in some way would just be ridiculous.

I for one thought it was a great ending. Very unexpected. I was expecting them to restart the match and hhave HHH sneak away with the victory. But even though chances are HHH will get the title back through a loophole, you will all tune in anyway, because you don't know for sure.
