Man, remember when they used to pull out all the stops at MSG? Instead, tonight was a pretty bad show overall, not because they didn't do anything, but because they tried to do everything... and nothing worked. Except Christian.

They totally repeated the mistakes of two, three years ago.

I was just over at WWE.com and HHH is saying he's going to work a 6 month program with JR. "Things went off so well tonight, the crowd was electric" he stated.
Plans are to retire the championship belt for now, as Batista won't have anyone to carry him while this HHH/JR program plays out. Some sort of traffic accident where Batista is shelved with the title.

Yeah, its kind of odd really. I mean Tomko actually got better over time!

I thought the same thing about Batista (ie. he was shit) when he first started, then he got better. Just gotta give some guys time, and if they can't cut it, then complain.

Just got back from the super show at MSG. Good crowd tonight. Being there it was a pretty good RAW despite most of you hating the hogan thing. The real downpoints where Chris Masters and the JR match.

Batista really went into the crowd after the match and celebrated with the fans, he seems like a real cool guy, very humble about being champion.

Hogan-HBK was great to see live. Who cares how long it took, when will you ever get to see two legends like that posedown?

Good to see Big Vis gettin it done tonight, crowd loved his segments.

The Lita slut chants, etc were defeaning in there, it was pretty funny.

Christian got a great pop when he came out, glad to see hes in the main event next week.

I only saw the last half hour or so of raw since Vince announced the draft happening in a months time. I was glad Christian was getting cheered, i think he was surprised himself, and this shows what i like about WWE fans, if they want to cheer or boo someone they will do so, no matter what they're 'told' to do.

When i was watching the main event i was thinking' What a creative main event for MSG!(sarcasm obviously) Wtf is the point in this shit?" The only good parts were when JR beat HHH(that shocked me) and then Batista hitting HHH with a chair. I don't care if he's a face, I want to see him destroy HHH in a variety of ways, if he uses the powerbomb all the time then it gets boring. I was laughing when JR beat HHH though.

You know what the weird part is? That Cole is, right now, ten times better than JR will EVER be now.

The bad news of a change of the announce teams? It would mean SmackDown would get screwed again by having a blubbering fat 24-hour-a-day orgasming guy who would botch move names left to right of talent that would desrve so much better. I can imagine him calling a Kurt Angle match:

Angle administers the Ankle Lock to [insert poor sap here].

JR: THERE IT IS, A MODIFIED BOSTON CRAB!! OMGWTFBBQ!!!!

(How's THAT for an instant rep downer?)

I was kind of hoping that JR would get bloodied up to the point of no return, then Batista would come in and beat the living SHIT out of HHH with that chair. THAT would've done it for me.

Raw reactions form the West Coast:

Loved Viscera. He was like some f'd up Barry White in his segments wuith Trish.

The HeartThrobs remind me of the SNL Night at the Roxbury guys. But they were so green in the ring. Not good.

The Hassan/HBK match was surprisingly suck ass. Sheltom's match was sub-par, too. The build-up for his match with Y2J was great.

The Hogan stuf...meh...it was MSG and they wanted to pull out all the stops. That segment was so long though. Pose after pose after pose.....not a bad moment and I really hope that Hassan's heat doesn't get killed in all this, but Hogan and HBK didn't need 10 minutes worth of airtime after the match was over. They're a 'dream team.' We get it.

Outside of the segment with Christian and Vince, I thought the second half of Raw was really bland. Triple H dominated the show again. I'm not sure where they're going with this Pedigree thing: did he forget he had a finisher in the first match?

Vince/Christian: I liked the crowd's reaction. They actually seemed to dig the draft. Christian is incredible on the mic. He's got that character down pat. The Sheffield reference, the little shrug, the way he played off having to go send Tyson for another mic, the fact that h didn't even blink before he got all ready for Batista...awesome. Vince was Vince, just seeing him do that walk is the goods. And Tomko is really growing on me. I especially loved where, after the Batista announcement, Christian is flexing his shoulders like "Ive got this shit" and Tomko is standing in the background , rolling his eyes as if to say, "what the hell did you get us into."

Not a terrible Raw, but not what i expected from a MSG show.

Yeah.I'm not quite sure what's up with this thing either. HHH is all "You fear the Pedigree. I should have known. It is the end".

Meanwhile I'm thinking "So what? You didn't try to hit the Pedigree on him before?"
