If it's anything like Tekken 5, it will probably be different parts of the costume can be changed that you'll need to purchase (i.e. clothing color, patterns) and maybe adding a few accessories (sunglasses, hats, capes, different masks for El Midgetto).

I don't know what I'm doing to do when I first play this one, other than what I always do which is switch the difficulty to Smackdown/make my Character? Could you guys give me some pointers?

I usually set my options (Harder difficulty, quicker spirit fill, no run-ins) start an exibition match with the guys (we tend to host multiplayer parties for big releases) and beat each other up. Afterwards I wake up the next morning and mess around with the singleplayer features (profile management, toy with the Create-A's) and probably kick off the season mode.

Roster tomorrow (probably early morning I'd assume as its a holiday in US and it probably just needs to be uploaded)

I think it'd be hard to screw up the roster for this year...but I wouldn't be shocked if they can find a way. Definitely staying away from the IGN boards.

Thats a good idea, since noobs keep asking if what they saw last week is in like Shelton hair colour, or if all the guys that were suspended in the last 3 days going to be removed. Thats why I hate idling at the IGN boards to re-post the Countdown here like I've been doing the past 4 years.

Be interesting if the editing feature is actually worth a fuck, i think raw 2 on the xbox offered the biggest level of control over editing superstars (been so long since i played any of the n64 games i may be wrong).

Then again raw 2 was a pile of shit that was just rush released so that kind of thing was probably accidental and something they forgot to lock down.


Still no word on mp3's as entrance themes though =/ Its something they could have patched into 2k7 but never bothered so it'll most likely be a checkbox feature on this version.

I see no reason why they're too lazy to have custom music since they had it for there Xbox games(Raw, Raw 2 and Wrestlemania 21). All that says is that they are too lazy to put one thing that EVERYONE is asking for.

Also, damn. I was reading up on info of 24/7 mode cause I hadn't read it in awhile, and what stood out is the line "you will start out on Raw or Smackdown". Guess that means you can't start on ECW in-game. Maybe you can after ECW debuts in game or something. One can only hope.

Tommy, Punk, and Sandman were my top 3 choices for 24/7 mode too. Oh well, guess I'll use MVP.

True. In fact, it would be pretty awesome if you could use anyone who did VO on any show...it'd feel sorta like SYM and it would tie into the whole GM element of being able to manage rosters

It would suck if can't use any ECW guys in 24/7, there's no reason why they can't be used though. But, we can't put it past THQ since last year quite a few guys couldn't be used in season like Flair, Khali and Finlay to name a few.

One thing I hope they change in the 24/7 mode is when if you play a match and the outcome of you match is totally different than the cutscene right after the match.

Ya know? You beat your opponent, but the cutscene shows you getting screwed out of your match.

I HATED that. What was the point of playing that match then??

Yeah that always pissed me off too. I also hated it when you are about to win but it cuts away to show you lose.

I honestly can see them doing something like that with Cena. As soon as you hit your finisher, BAM cutscene of him kicking out, FU, you lose.
