Two things and then I'm out. I think you should actually start talking about ROH when I'm done as otherwise this will just be about why casual and main-stream fans (along with smarks) don't enjoy the product.

1. It looks more painful, which is a legitimate reason for people to enjoy it. If it looks real then we're more likely to believe in it.

2. Because much of the punishment looks so devastating and real, it takes a lot of people out of the match when someone takes an unrealistic amount of punishment and gets up unfazed.

I dot think they get up unfazed its more of a rush of adrenaline "fighting spirit" thing. But hey I love allllllll pro Wrestling. I like British wrestling from wide world of sport. I like the chaining.

To add onto that, HBK. My favorite wrestler of all time. If you watch his longer matches, the man can barely stand at the end. Many times, you see him grabbing onto his opponent just trying to get to his feet and he's still unsteady and wobbly. He doesn't do this after a devastating move necessarily to sell that. Most of the time, he's just showing wear from the match. It's brilliant. That's why it bugs me to see someone act the polar opposite. A lot of indy matches I see, it seems like guys have a short term memory and only sell the previous few minutes of the match.

Watched Gateway to Honor and Survival of the Fittest 2011 this weekend. Gateway to Honor may have been the worst ROH show ever honestly. Survival of the Fittest wasn't that great of a show, but the tag match with WGTT vs. Lethal/Richards wasn't bad, and the main event was phenomenal. O'Reilly didn't do a bad job of selling the offense of Elgin, like #1 WWF fan was talking about, he acted like HBK would near the end of his long matches, showing the wear and tear of everything he'd been through, especially after the table spot.
