I actually thought that they were gonna commit to getting Christian over. I was convinced that they were gonna give him a solid push for the next month so that he could move to Smackdown as the number 1 heel.

The first 5 minutes of this match may as well have killed all of Christians heat. If they wanted to book a match like this, let them play it out with a lower mid card heel, someone that just needed exposure.

Did we really think Christian would win tho? Or have any say? Once HHH stacked the cards against Dave, Christian's push was effectively over (for the night).

In the long run, I don't think this really kills anything, because it wasn't like he was being elevated to the main event in this run.

Christian needed to win or at least not get pinned in this match. I guess not losing, but not winning is how it should have played out, because you can't have the world champ losing so soon even if it's a 3 on 1. But this did nothing for Christian, nothing at all. TIoE is right, it should have been anyone but Chriatian losing like that.

True. The problem here is that you can't give two guys rubs at once. Batista needed it more to make him even stronger for Backlash. Christian is not really even in the main events yet. You can even say he's not really getting a bigger push then he was 3 months ago. It's just that Christian preforms so well every week that he keeps getting more over. But it's nt like they've been trying to push him strong yet.

I'm telling you, once he goes to Smackdown, he'll get those consecutive strong wins that he's deserved for a while. And he better go to Smackdown.
