It was a bad move bringing Myers and then Vizcaino in there. Should have stuck with Proctor one more inning or brought Bruney in. Vizcaino got lit up the other day and Myers obviously cannot get Ortiz out.

Yeah it seems like every time Myers is up against Ortiz he gives up a hit. Probably psychological. Mo definitely wasn't himself.

Can't believe we came back in the 8th though. That was unreal.

We had that game put away. Posada would have been clutch there, but I guess Andy put a little too much heat on the ball or Jorge didn't feel right in the glove today to make him leave due to a bruised thumb. But as I said a few posts earlier, nice job stepping up by Nieves.

I have some trust Karstens will do good tomorrow. But I'm gonna sleep like shit tonight.

Yup, Myers was brought here specifically for Ortiz and he seems to get rocked by him everytime.

Don't really understand why Phelps didn't hit for Thompson there. Pretty bad decisions all around with managing the pen and pinch-hitting.

You obviously expect a lot from Mo but when he only gets in one game a week he is gonna be a little rusty.

Pettitte looked really good today at least. This was our game today though; next two games are gonna be tough.

Really nervous about Perez today. He shut down the Braves last time he faced them but his last game he looked like total shit. He's had 10 days of rest...so that either means he'll be rusty or he'll be well-rested and ready to go. Completely inconsistent.

Interested to see how Wright does batting in the 2-hole today with Lo Duca getting an offday. If he does well he might actually stay there because Lo Duca's been slumping.
