Only 50 playable characters. Last year's active roster alone had more people.

The only thing I can think of is downloadable characters.

I mean they included Cryme Tyme but not the tag team that held the Tag Titles for almost a year (L&K).

I like the Highlanders but I doubt I'd use them outside of using Robbie once to see his beard

Also, heard some disturbing news. Reading the roster list...that is the final roster for PS3, 360, and Wii.

Meaning, PS2 might be getting people everyone else has to download.

I'd even go as far as saying that, unless they release a hefty roster pack for free, I'm not gonna bother. I shouldn't have to pay like $15 to get a couple of wrestlers that should have been in anyway.

Yeah, same here Vito, I too won't pay for people who were supposed to be in the game anyway, might get the PSP version too just for the hell of it; who knows though, it might be like SvR 2006 where you could copy the PSP legends to the console version. We'll just have wait for more info to be released.

Maybe the most perplexing roster in years. Still, it's a pretty varied set of Main Eventers, Mid-Cards and Jobbers. I'm still amazed at any Diva's inclusion but whatever.

Sad that Taz isn't in this year.

Wow what an odd roster, Sabu but no RVD, Cryme Tyme but not Londrik, Cade & Murdoch or WGTT.

What the hell is up with the legends aswell, seven for the 360 but only two new ones?!

Why do they have all the refs in, yet hardly any of the guys we wanted?

Well what's the point? Having very few legends in a current WWE game, it's pointless. They just need to have a WWE Legends game. I think it would sell pretty good. I mean current fans will buy it and then gamers who haven't watched the product in years will buy it because they grew up watching some of those Legends.

I never use the legends anyway, not even to beat up on. If they are sticking to just seven this year then it is completely pointless.

Christ, the roster looks worse every time I look at it. I mean, I'm elated that Sabu, Cryme Tyme, and Kenny Dykstra made it in...but christ they screwed so many people over. I can't believe how much they hyped having 70 characters in the game...and they damn well made it out to sound like they meant 70 playable.

Past buying the game, I refuse to give THQ any more damn money with the downloadables unless they are packaged and priced reasonably. I can see them doing Raw, Smackdown, and ECW packs right away to basically give you a total roster update...but if they are like $15 each forget it.

It's really no wonder now why they merged Season and GM Modes together...you can't have a good GM mode with that roster.

What if they were $5 per pack, would you buy them then, I might seeing as how I'm Canadian so if that is the price it's about $7 or $8 because of the exchange rate.

What I really don't understand is that why did they keep Sabu in the game and not RVD?

After all, Sabu was fired and RVD left on his own whim. Not to mention Sabu left before RVD did.
