Gerald Green is sick
None of those guys you listed wanna do it, so they put in a new rule saying its only for players who are in the first few years of being in the NBA or something. |

The All-star game is just like the Pro Bowl. Popularity Contest. People that deserve to be in it, aren't. I'll be pissed if Chris Paul doesn't make it. Hell, Bynum should have been considered. Well, not anymore obviously, with the injury. Watch Ji Yianlian get voted in or some shit, from the chinks. Kobe is thinking about doing the 3 point contest, that might be sweet. And yeah, Gerald Green is a sick dunker. Jamario Moon is pretty ridiculous though as well, and Dwight Howard is a man child. Gonna be close. Rudy Gay, I'm not too impressed with dunking wise.

Im still pretty irritated that the best leaper isnt in the Pros. Telling you now, if James White was in the dunk contest, he'd win without a problem.

no reason to be down on that lose, the final score looks worse than what it is. We had a breakdown but i guarantee we made a statement to the Spurs and everyone else. Had Drew been there, Ariza, or Radman, we would not have lost. Period.

dude, before Vlad went down he was accounting for at LEAST 12-14 off the bench and made focusing on a 2nd unit threat much harder. Now all the opposing defense has to worry about is Farmar off the bench, because nobody else consistently puts up offense on the 2nd unit besides him

Vlad Rad can be a difference. His shooting is needed. Yeah, I expected an L, but still, we had that game. I blame Kobe, his turnovers were atrocious. and there was NO need to force those shots to begin the 3rd, we were playing great as a team, until he went all old-Kobe on us. Fuck, Bynum hurry up and get back already.

Im saying someones presence opens up shots for others (see:Kobe Bryant). Therefore, yea...ive seen the Lakers 2nd unit put up 70+ in a single game, because a spread offense is much more efficient, and having Radman on the court would open shots for a Farmar and vice versa.

*sigh* lack of inside presence defensively has killed us twice now. Opposing forwards are having their way inside.
Ah well, im holding onto this lil hope right here: By Elliott Teaford Staff Writer Article Last Updated: 01/24/2008 04:00:28 AM PST SAN ANTONIO - Media speculation about a trade between the Lakers and Chicago resumed this week, several months after Bulls general manager John Paxson declared a possible deal between the teams dead. During training camp, Kobe Bryant was rumored to be headed to Chicago for a package of players before Paxson said in early November that there would be no trade. However, the Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith suggested a new deal the other day in his NBA column, with the Lakers acquiring power forward Ben Wallace in exchange for center Kwame Brown and backup forward Vladimir Radmanovic. Smith's reasoning was sound, although he acknowledged it was not based on anything he has heard from the Bulls, Lakers or any other league sources. Lakers coach Phil Jackson has always coveted strong rebounders and defenders to play alongside his centers. A tag-team of Wallace and emerging standout Andrew Bynum (once he recovers from his kneecap injury) could raise the Lakers' title prospects. The deal also helps the Bulls clear space under the salary cap. Wallace has two seasons after this one remaining on his contract at a total of $28.5 million. Brown has $9 million left on his expiring contract. Radmanovic, who is making $5.6 million this season, is signed through the 2010-11 season. Smith theorized that Radmanovic's contract might be more than the Bulls would like, but it is a good deal less than they're due to pay Wallace for the next two seasons. The trade deadline is Feb. 21. |

But then Lakers will lose even more games because Rad won't open the floor for those outside shooters! lol
Seriously, that'd be a good trade for the Lakers. |

We should get Gerald Green for like a 2nd round draft pick or something. Think of this lineup for the future, seriously now:
Jordan Farmar Gerald Green Trevor Ariza Ronny Turiaf Andrew Bynum and that's WITHOUT Kobe, seriously that looks amazing. Every player listed above is under 25 years old, or 25. |

lol, as of right now, the Pacers (19-26)would qualify as the 8th seed in the playoffs in the East.
Wanna know the record of the 8th seed in the West? That would be Portland at 25-18. |

Yeah the fucking Knicks are somehow only like 3.5 games out of the last playoff spot. Terrible.

Thats how the Pacers stay bad. They stay around the 8th or 9th spot, usually sneaks into the playoffs negating a good pick, but by chance they dont, they trade there pick to a up and coming team for broken down 3 point shooters who sit out playoff games with back tightness. |

lol, Marc Cuban is a bitch. You can not get fair reffing in Dallas, as he is constantly screaming at the refs, and creates a terrible atmosphere for fair refereeing in American Airlines. Whatever though.
Lakers definitely need a win today. We NEED IT. |
