I'm also of the opinion that this won't be a heel turn for CM Punk. At least not yet. Not unless the "WWE Universe" completely turns on Punk, which I don't think will be the case.

Look, yes, Jeff Hardy won an exhausting Ladder Match with Edge, but I'm sure the case will be made that CM Punk also had the Samoan Strap Match with Umaga, and that both men were worn down. As for why Punk didn't beat Edge -- the WWE obviously do want to do something between Punk and Jeff Hardy. If Hardy lost the Ladder Match, he'd pretty much be out of the title picture. I guess they could have had Matt Hardy cost Jeff the match again, but I'm also thinking they want more direct heat between Hardy and Punk. I also think they wanted to make this PPV as "chaotic" as possible, and that they want to continue to build Jeff Hardy. The guy gets to call himself a two-time World Champion now, which is a very good thing for him, and incentive to re-sign with the company.

I fully expect to see a promo between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy on SmackDown!, with Punk saying it was nothing personal, Punk just chose his moment. Jeff Hardy is then likely to say that he knows why Punk did what he did, but Jeff doesn't like it. Cue Edge who starts talking about rematches.

The WWE don't want to do Edge vs. CM Punk right now. They want to do Edge vs. CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy. They needed a way to keep Jeff Hardy in there, which is why there is now heat between Jeff Hardy and CM Punk, as well.

Noid, your logic is so fucking diluted it simply amazes me.

That post is proof that CM Punk is turning heel. Noid's future predictions are pretty much never right.

To be fair, I get the point. Austin would batter and Stunner anyone, heel or face, and it never did him any harm. If a guy can stun Jim Ross and Stacey Keibler and remain a face, there clearly are shades of grey.

I was wondering why WWE was allowing the Cena/Show match to go on forever...at least they made up for it with the ladder match/Punk cashing in.

The logic is probably to have a "shocking" World Title change on RAW tonight, and I imagine it will be similar to how they did with Jericho last year (which shocked the hell out of me).
