I love The Rock, His work back in the day was some of the best of all time. For whatever reason though i'm just not feeling rocky lately. I guess i'm just bored with the rock routine: Show up, kiss up to whatever city he's in, trash whoever he's beefing with catchphrases and profanity, then leave. I guess it was cooler when I was younger. I Like Cena when they let him loose a bit. The rapper gimmick was funny as fuck. Honestly to me Im kinda whatever about the match. There's no way it'll live up to the hype. Punk Jericho and Hell in a Cell is goona be WAAAAAY better matches IMO.

The fact that the Rock really didnt touch on having much of a personal vendetta against Cena has watered down the fuedfor me. Heres Cena spitting fire about being the guy everynight, wanting to be nothing but what he is, etc. Rock has run out there with the usual schtick, which Ive found entertaining, but its really watered down the fued quite a bit, imo. I get the idea was to try and encourage a 50/50 crowd, but, to me, its only taken steam away from what could have been some read hot promos. Instead, Cena has undoubtedly steamrolled through the Rock, while the Rock has been his usual self. Still looking forward to the match based purely off what Im hoping will be a lively crowd.

I think Rock getting more into how he needs to beat Cena to have the Cena, Austin, Hogan victories to be the one man to beat three different era's top guys at WM was the best thing he's done as far as hyping the match. Made it seem like he genuinely NEEDS this win. Cena let that come across for weeks but Rock never really tried to make it seem like more than a paycheck until last night.

The Rock has hinted a few times before about why he needs the win but yeah yesterday was the first time he spent any real amount of time explaining it.

Outside of the initial weeks of the promo war, the whole set up has been to let Cena lash out with the promos and the Rock to entertain more which has helped Cena a lot and let the crowd get enjoyed with the Rock being back.

Only downside is their feud never had them attacking or really physically confronting each other besides the occasional Rock Bottom or AA. I thought maybe at least the final RAW would have made it to the point of them teasing a brawl but didn't happen.

Completely not a downside to me. Especially after they both got into how huge the match was to them. I like the fact that both of them are just so obsessed with needing to win the match and there's no petty fighting before hand. It's just all about the match. If the match were just based on the typical wrestling hatred, then yeah, a fight would be good but it's not so it would just be forced.

Didn't really need an actual brawl but could have at least teased one like have them really be face to face and mouthing off to each other to end the show instead of both just casually staring at each other.

Felt more they were ready to huge than wanting to beat the crap out of each other.
