It would be awesome if shows just started ending with him crab-walking out and then leaving.

Ok seriously though, this was a good way to end it. Bryan getting the title for a third PPV in a row would have been stale. Orton getting it would have been bad for Bryan as a top guy. Since there is a Hell in a Cell PPV next, this is good booking for that match.

Kofi/Bray was actually pretty good. I didn't really know what to expect. None of the actual matches were AWFUL. Even the Khali match had a mark out moment.

No contest finish or not, I think the problem is more that it was a finish more suited for a free episode of Raw and not something you pay $50 for. Seems logical that the free shows would be what sets up the resolution that you pay a shitload of money to see. BUT I DUNNO.

To be honest, for a 3-week-build PPV that's just filler between Night of Champions and Hell in a Cell, the no contest finish was fine.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. That was definitely a Raw ending. PPVs are traditionally meant for resolution of some sort, rather than continuation.

At the same time, I do agree with Tedious about neither Bryan or Orton needing that win tonight.

I feel like a selling point was that there was going to be a new WWE champion, and that just didn't deliver.

Overall though, I still enjoyed the show, and I think Raw will be interesting.

I just think a $50 PPV should never feel remotely close to a free Raw. It's crazy. I understand there's a shitload of PPVs now but there's gotta be some sort of peak at every PPV to make it more special that what you get for free. I don't get why anyone would happily pay that much money to basically see an episode of Raw.
