Thanks. Eh, it'll be interesting to see where he fits. I guess they might do Cass/Enzo for a few PPVs. I think they'll probably do a Chain Match where Enzo touches all the corners behind Cass' back to keep things spinning in between two Cass maulings. This could be the "mid-card match they put into Hell in a Cell" where Enzo actually dies. (not actually)

This all ties in to the first attack when Corey Graves said on commentary "I'd love to shake hands with the man who attacked Enzo" and then he shook hands with Cass later that night in a seemingly unrelated segment.

Yeah, but when would they have done it? For as pumped up as they make the crowd, they've never really been in the position where any reign they would have had really felt like the primary story. That they've never been in that position actually makes more sense as to why Cass would betray Enzo too.

In NXT at the very least it seemed to me like the time to put the belts on them would have been the first NXT Takeover: Brooklyn...... instead of The Vaudevillains.......

In retrospect, I agree, but Enzo & Cass were pretty flat. Despite it being their stomping grounds, it really did feel like it was their time. Even though Cass did the intro for Blue Pants' theme, The Vaudevillains winning felt right.

NXT Takeover Brooklyn was probably their best shot had the Vaudevillans not become suddenly hot at the time.

Never had any real opportunities on RAW even though they were rumored for a while about being the ones to feud and likely dethrone the New Day which never ended up happening.

Like, The New Day had those belts on lock-down. Then they went over to Sheamus & Cesaro and Gallows & Anderson for the WrestleMania thing. I know that wasn't the hottest either, but The Hardys winning was the right choice, and now we're where we're at.

Time is a funny thing. Remember when movies coming on like NOW would have stupid edits like the word "laid" being backmasked? And even with all that, they still couldn't been shown in the day without being hacked all to hell- in spite of USA constantly showing Friday the 13th flicks and such on the weekends.

The FCC doesn't regulate cable TV also. Just "over the air" broadcast channels.

So there is no govt-imposed censorship on cable... that's why they can say fuck and stuff. They just mostly decide not to because advertisers want to advertise on "family-friendly" stuff

Alexa slapping English and Gotch and them being too classy to resort to violence against a woman was good storytelling and it paid off in the right way at that show. They possibly could have done a similar thing with Enzo & Cass, but I dunno, I remember distinctly thinking that Enzo & Cass being lower (I think they did a warm-up match for the live crowd that they showed on NXT that week) felt right at the time.
