I hate them. I want wrestling to be in kayfabe as much as possible. These press conferences are just too much shop talk for me. I get that some people are going to love that, and you don’t have to watch them, but eh. There’s a reason MJF works so much better than just about anyone else in wrestling, and it’s because he treats his craft with sincerity.

While I enjoy the influx of information, I totally agree. They are trying to be like NJPW except there they don't break kayfabe and talk about booking plans and decisions and the psychology of the booker leading up to making decisions.

Punk also took quotes from a Hangman seminar hilariously out of context. In that seminar, Hangman admitted that he isn't the best at taking advice, that he listens and appreciates the help but prefers a trial and error approach to his character and that's always been what he finds works best for him. Mind you he said all of this in a pretty meek way, and while he was already World champion.

Punk acted like Hangman was on some shoot rant taking a giant dump on the veteran minds in the locker room. "This fucking piece of shit dumbfuck Adam Page thinks he's too good to take advice with all the minds we have back here? Get the fuck out of here!"

I still think he’s worth it.

It’s possible he might not be able to physically do it anymore since he’s getting hurt a lot, but he’s such a good talker.

I thought his whole “shoot promo” was riveting. I’d keep him no matter what.

Thing is he’s useless as just a mouth piece for them. If he’s hurt again, he should forfeit the title and they should just move forward without him. Maybe he comes back again but at this point he’s a liability who’s just ruining storylines because he can’t stay healthy

If Punk actually walks, that’s surely the end of the line for him in wrestling unless he wants to go have fun with Freddie Prinze Jr. or something.

If the Elite walked I think they’d definitely get WWE offers. I mean they already got offers back when WWE were in their “sign everyone” stage and while they turned them down, I don’t sense Triple H felt slighted by it given what happened. I suspect Triple H would genuinely welcome Omega on WWE programming. Less so the Bucks but I think he’d give them a short-term deal just for the flex of knowing he got all of their EVPs.
