I was really frustrated last night, but that game was the game I've been waiting for all series. As much fun as it was to watch my boys win by 31 on Thursday, I came into this series expecting overtime and one-point games, and last night didn't disappoint. I don't think that San Antonio has the personality to win this game. They are a better skilled team if you ask me, but I think Detroit uses the intangibles and they will complete the impossible. I love it.

I have grown to love Detroit in this series and really do think they have the character to pull this off tonight.

Pistons have heart. They have guts. They do the little, grimy things to win games. They have a better coach. They have pride. Hell, they have so mcuh pride, they didn't get title rings, they got CHAMPIOSHIP BELTS!!! (Which is the hottest thing in team sports, ever)

Plus, seeing TD with that Deer in the headlights look down the stretch the last two games pretty much decides it for me who I'm rooting for.

Also, Matchbox 20 is like a tougher version of the Goo Goo Dolls. So..not sayin' much.

What a great game though. I was rooting for Detroit in this series, but the way Ginobili and Duncan played this game was unbelievable. This was a great NBA Finals if you ask me. Not bad at all for the game. There was more intensity and emotion in these final few games then I have seen in the NBA Finals in years. I liked Detroit, but the Spurs showed me tonight that they actually do have a personality and they do love their team, and I am glad that they won it. This was a great series for basketball, no bullshit about it, just great basketball. The two best teams, the two best coaches, add that to the collective bargaining agreement, and I love the direction the NBA is going right now.

Damn, sucks, no back to back this year. This was probably the most excited for a basketball game I had ever been. But there is always the future.

I'm not changing it in the fact that I was rooting for San Antonio, but just after this game they showed that they had qualities that I said they didn't. I didn't think they were passionate and emotional like Detroit, and I didn't think their crowds were great, but this game they were all of that. So although I would have liked to see Detroit win, I am not disappointed that San An did. I would rather see Manu and Duncan win then AI or Kobe.

Its just great when the 2 coaches are such good friends and stuff, respectful to eachother, its just good for basketball. this series was gold.
