It wasn't the fact that Christian got pinned that sucked, losing was fine. Batista needed a win more than Christian. It was the fact that Christian looked like a jobber in the match. He had barely any offense in the match and was getting destroyed completely up until HHH's low blow. Even after that he was limited to a dropkick, some headlocks and an irish whip to the stairs.

The push wasn't killed, but a strong match tonight would've been enough to catapult him into the mainevent. Now they still need to get him a strong showing against a big opponent.

Yea, that's exactly what I disagreed with about the show. It's like he was just cast aside at the end and it was like he never even wrestled. That's the stuff that pisses me off a lot. And they do that a lot. Match should of went long with close calls, but HHH doesn't want anybody scooping his heat.

Crowd wants Christian in the Main events more then HHH it seems judging from the past 2 weeks, but we get the same heel over and over again.

Where was he with the pedigree before? I mean he hit it ridiculously easy after the match!

Also... The opening segment... Man... should a face be using an announcer like that? It doesn't seem a face thing to do. I mean JR just wanted to be left alone but Batista is just using him to make HHH mad. I'm sure JR doesn't appreciate it.

Gouda- there you go being critical like atypical internet fan-no offence or anything, but we complain that we hate proper faces, and then when batista isnt acting like a proper face, we criticise that!

Anyways, it was a shit Raw i thought, mainly cos of the breaks. (Just cos i'm against needless criticism doesn't mean i can't criticise when it's needed for those who want to point me out as a hypocrit or something) There was a break every 5 mins it seemed like, and not many matches either.The only meaningful match was the main event, and then that sucked cos Christian came off so weak after dominating most of the show.

I liked it when Shelton did his finisher on Y2J, it gave Shelton some heat and a new look, i can't wait for his heel run now. Though the Y2J match was too boring and predicteble to watch as ever, same old moves and shit. They really don't give a fuck about Y2J and they wont give him the title, they're just teasing around with him in order to get him to sign a new one, so they can shit on him some more.

I didn't understand why Kane came out and destroyed Tomko, what was the point in that? Unless they're setting up a tomko/kane feud, in which Tomko costs Kane the match against Viscera at Backlash.

The diva segment was annoying, but it was cool to see Regal, until they lost once again in the UK, for fuck sakes let him win in England when he's a face for once.

Also hated the piss-break Masters segment, i don't know what happened in the end cos i turned it over when i saw a guy coming into the ring, but i can pretty much guess. It just seems like a cheaper version of Kurt Angles invitational.

That HBK/Hogan segment was funny, but way to piss off the UK fans by just doing it backstage. They probably got there hopes up that they were gonna see them live,and then once again, were shitted on by the WWE. Was funny though,liked what Hassan said about them two afterwards aswell, sometimes i wish JR would shut the fuck up and accept the truth.

Overall it was a rather poor show though, i don't know if you guys in the US had breaks every 5 mins to, but it really gives me a headache.

I was suprised it was such a blah show because the events overseas are usually a big deal. This was basically a whole night of squash matchs, with a little storyline thrown in. A much as I think Smackdown needs the draft in order to get some starpower, raw needs an infusion of new faces to mix things up a bit and bolster that mid-card.

Positives:

--Batista on the mic and with more than 3 minutes of TV time.

--Christian, as mentioned, stealing the show.

--Shelton showing some intensity. Not sure if I like the idea of him as a true "heel" yet. hopefully he plays the 'fighting champion' tweener kind of character for a while.

--All the Viscera segments.

Negatives:

--The Diva segment. Pointless and longer than it needed to be. Could those English tramps have walked any slower? Also, that whole thing could've been backstage, and Hogan/HBK could've cut their promo in the ring. Fans would've got the chepa thrill and the Divas get 2 minutes less time on my TV

--Lita talking.

--Kane atacking Tyson for NO REASON. JR couldn't even pull a reason out of his ass...."Kane is out here..like two mack trucks colliding...brglnfkljhjghjbahgawd."

--No Snitsky?

Like I said, an blah show. Nothing terrible, but nothing really memorable either. ind of typical for the Raw right before a PPV, but this was England..expected more, I guess.

They could ahve made Christian a star tonight, but they dropped the ball, huge.

The stuff with Flair at the beginning of the show was amazing, but by the end of the night he looked like he was on par with Coach.

Its sad that they do shit like this because its obvious Christian is on the verge of something big.

I dont think he should have been pinned in that match. Batista is strong enough, they could have done a DQ finish, and accomplish the exact same thing.

If Christian is going to challenge Cena for the WWE title, how will he look credible when he got destroyed and made look like a bitch on RAW? No long term thinking whatsoever.

Thanks. I could've guessed that. What I meant is that there was no on-screen reason for Kane the character to go out and attack Tomko. he had no motivation storrywise and one was ever given.

RAW was alright too me. Cable was screwed up in the beginning, but it got fixed.

I'm not much of a Christian fan, but I do have to say that he did steal the show tonight. The promo against Flair was completely ROFLMAO type of stuff. "HHH can go to SmackDown to beat Michael Cole" was good stuff.

The opening segment was not too good. "The Animal" Batista is showing compassion with his arm around JR and congratulating him.

Trish/Viscera was entertaining. I've never seen Viscera like this, but maybe there is some light in him thats showing through now. A good lol part was where he ordered the whole menu.
