Wow, what a great ending to a pretty damn good show. HBK/Shelton was greatness, Xtian was gold (though he didn't do much), and HHH tapped. That's all the show needed to be good.

Then again...it would be totally sweet to see Benoit get revenge by absolutely destroying Edge with a brick, or briefcase, or something. Benoit could totally turn heel (or, preferably, tweener) against Big Dave, then later down the road, level Edge to turn face again. That's assuming they keep up this head trauma angle, of course...fantasy booking really does require a lot of assumptions. And, I'll admit, I've never once been close to right...

RAW was awesome, if only for the HBK/Shelton match and Benoit beating HHH when I was 100% sure HHH would win.

Oh, and The Lance Krall Show is unwatchable. Blech.

Wow. Total mark out for Bentoit winning.

When he came out I was ready to come here after the show and complain about how HHH will let you win... as long as he gets to bury you afterwards. Cause if he won, this woulda been his 2nd win over Bentoit in recent weeks.

But then BAM. I totally wasn't expecting it!

And damn... HBK/Shelty was absolute gold. Shelty needs some mic skills and then he's all set.

I'm, of course, pissed off about Christian losing. I mean, I have nothing against him losing... But not in that manner. Should have had Tomko accidentally hit him (getting reveresed into him doesn't count). It's like... they deciced "Oh shit, he's getting over, let's bury him".

Damn, I always have Mondays off, but I had to do some mandatory overtime tonight. Raw sounded pretty f'n hott. I was reading the results and my jaw dropped to read "winner: Benoit"

Yeah, same here. I usually have Monday's off, but this is the 2nd week in a row I had to work.

But I taped it, and I'm glad I did. HBK/Shelton was awesome with a Holy Shit finish. Half expected Christian to interfere in the main event after saying that he hates Flair, maybe something next week. Surprised to see Hassan knock down Daivari. But that will probably slide, since Daivari didn't do anything to retaliate. Viscera is becoming more , he's back on the Black Market. Masterlock challenge still sucks. And HHH tapped to Benoit again, was not expecting that.

I marked out when I READ that Benoit made Triple H tap. I didn't see it cause I was bored and went to sleep but didn't fall asleep till like 12.

You know Triple H is going to get the belt back. If we keep saying this maybe he wont. Cause we all thought he was going to win and he TAPPED.

I think next RAW PPV we'll actually get a heavyweight title match where Triple H won't be in the main event

You havent seen the Vengance poster have you?

I think the winner of this tournament will face Batista on Raw itsself cos remember they don't have a PPV till Vengeance, so it's still possible he could defend his title on raw and then HHH faces him at Vengeance for the title.I think that's what will happen.

Yeah this was a good Raw, despite the boring chants in the Y2J/Edge match(i blame edge for that, he really makes me want to go 'boring' in every match). And the Masters segment sucked once again, they really didn't need to do that, we get the fucking message already, if he actually tried it on wrestlers then i might give a flying fuck.

Besides that though they got the flow of the show exactly right, especially with this tournament idea, surprised me.I was wondering how they were going to get another contender without it being HHH, this was probably the only way possible.And thank god Benoit beat HHH, i was laughing when batista was standing infront of HHH's face though, great TV.

Does anyone know if Benoit was really hurt by that clothesline from HHH? His eyes looked well fucked.

Overall it was another good show, and i hope they continue in this way, i wonder if this has anything to do with that new writer they brought in recently?

Oh yeah and that HBK/shelton match was a fucking classic. That was what wrestling matches should be like, they both knew exactly what they were doing, i wish the stupid crowd would cheer Shelton already, that man is a God in the ring.

Oh and i'm also gonna say, that Benoit will beat Kane and Edge will beat HBK, then Edge will win the final, he's got another title match to come anyway so it wouldn't be so damaging if he lost the first.Plus, he's the only heel in the tourny now.

Just finished watching RAW. Didn't read the rest of this thread, so if it's been said I appoligize. But you think maybe they're going to go Kane vs Edge in the finals, with Lita turning on Kane? I mean they stuck them on screen together and with the rumoured Lita heel turn. At least they'd have the "YOU SCREWED MATT" chant in one segment rather then two every week.
