I put out some pretty good offers. I'm surprised no one took them up. Probably for the best for me though. I think Howard will rebound. I knew he'd have a slow start, but I was losing patience, I'm past that now. Howard should be all right. Figgins is getting back into the swing of things, he'll be a base stealing machine soon enough. Guess I should actually thank you guys for not accepting the trades

only problem with Soriano is that they have him batting lead off. If they even put him in the #2 spot he'd be so much better fantasy stat wise, even the #5 spot. Crazy decision by the Cubs, imo.

The thing is Ramirez is a money in the bank kind of guy. The other two, whilst doing well at this point do not have the track record. Pretty tempting trade me thinks. All depends on what your needs are of course.

Well Upton is one of 4 guys I have eligible at 2B, the others being Weeks, Kinsler, and F. Sanchez. And Sanchez is a backup UTIL player, since that's where I'm playing Youk right now. I figure Youk will break his hitting streak soon since he's probably at his peak now, and Upton has been on the decline since early May. Ramirez can make up for the loss in AVG and OBP from losing Youk and Upton, and he adds more HR which is my biggest need.

because Upton is 2B and 3B eligible, perhaps OF eligible soon too (Yahoo leagues) I'd rather hold on to him and move Kinsler. But that's just me. Also Upton adds more sbs and is playing on a very offensive team.... well so is Kinsler I suppose, but Tampa's offense just seems leaps and bounds better at this point.

Man, I'm like the Yankees this year. I always win but for some reason this year I'm garbage. Well, I'm in 2nd in the roto league, 4th in the H2H and SEVENTH in Wadding's. Second place in my other league with my friends IRL. I guess I'm not doing too bad, I'm not far behind in the roto or the H2H and I'm about to take the lead in the league with my friends.

Wadding's league is killing me though. Abreu, Pujols, Zambrano and Rivera have pretty much lost it for me. Losing Carpenter doesn't help either...
