yea, let's just say I face guys throwing 80mph fastballs. That shit doesn't belong anywhere near MLB hitters.

His curve has tailed off the last few years as well. If you look at the numbers, Zito has been on a decline for a while. This year, like RP said, he's an ace for a shit team, so his decline will be a lot more obvious.

Yankees DL keeps getting bigger. Hughes is now on the DL with an "oblique strain". Wonder if that is code for "sorting out mechanics without going to the minors" though. Hopefully thats what it is and it isn't an injury.

And once again, Wang while good, has luck completely on his side.

When he gets bombed by the Red Sox, the Yankees do even more damage with 15 runs.

Tonight he's up against a pitcher that is just as good, if not better all around than him, and Seattle makes 4 errors in 3 innings and gives up several unearned runs.

M's are also so incompetent offensively.

Julio Franco retired supposedly...damn. He made a big deal about how he wanted to play till he was 50, which he would be turning in August...but now he's hanging 'em up.

Surely he could have held out a couple months, I'm sure a team like the Pirates or Royals would sign Franco just for the novelty of having a 50 year old guy play.

Pierre is doing amazing this season. I would love to sit Jones and start Pierre. Only liability with him is the fact that he has the weakest arm of all time. He can bunt for hits, plus has some bloop singles. His speed is unbelievable. Andruw Jones is just an overpaid overweight piece of shit

Man, Yankees have been streaky this year. They haven't won or lost just one game at a time since the first three games of the season. A-Rod/Posada really can't come back quick enough.

Not even a bad game tonight for Wang but Lee was just ridiculous. Lee's stats this season are insane - 44.2 IP, 25 hits, 2 walks, 39 Ks, 0.81 ERA
