This is disgraceful. 0-5 and we got a total of 18 games all together with Boston. When A-Rod returns this weekend (hopefully), it sure as hell better jump start the team.

They were actually pretty decent last year...if their pitchers played anywhere close to the level they were supposed to, they probably would've won like 85 games last year. I watched the Red Sox vs Yanks the other night. I guess it was the first game Sox/Yanks game in the new Yanks stadium and there was no one there? It was unreal. It was like a Florida vs Oakland interleague game.

Not really sure why Girardi does some of the things he does. Mariano hasn't pitched in a week, I'm sure he could have pitched another inning. He did only strike out the side.

After the game he says he wanted the lefty on lefty matchup with Phil Coke vs. Pena. There is no situation where I would ever use Phil Coke over Mariano Rivera, ever.

Dodgers left fielder Manny Ramirez prepares to head back into the field during a game against the San Diego Padres on Friday. Ramiez will be suspended 50 games for a positive drug test, The Times has learned.
The suspension, which is expected to begin with tonight's game, makes him the biggest star penalized under baseball's testing program that started in 2003.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Manny Ramirez has been suspended 50 games for a positive PED test.

The suspension will reportedly go into effect immediately. Ramirez would easily become the biggest star ever suspended by Major League Baseball as part of its new performance-enhancing drug policy. "Ramirez is expected to attribute the test results to medication received from a doctor for a personal medical issue," reports the L.A. Times. MLB.com sources have confirmed the story and are reporting that the suspension will cost him $7.7 million. He'll be eligible to return July 3.

Look, Manny is not smart enough to do steroids and try to get away with it, he is straight up dumb. So I guess that's why he didn't even know what he took. lol what, he comes off as stupid in media interviews and shit but its not like he is mentally challenged. He took something that is associated with balancing your body after coming off a cycle of 'roids, I am sure he knew what he was doing.
