The Vikings were still a solid team without Favre last year. They probably don't beat out the Packers for the NFC North title without him (and don't hang on for the bye), but they'd still be a playoff team.

With that said, I hope the noise in the SuperDome blows out his eardrums tonight. I heard on ESPN this morning that he'll be wearing the Vikings playcalls on a wrist band for the first time tonight and the writing was too small for him to read.

No complaints, better team won. I kinda felt at half time ok, we've scored too early. We've typically been more of a 2nd half team the last few weeks. Total reverse today. And when Shonn Greene went off I knew they'd take care of a solo Thomas Jones no problem. Secondary was pretty iffy today too.

This play off run has been a complete surprise so it's been fun. All the best for the Super Bowl Colts.

It'll be interesting to see how the Jets do next year. After this good stretch, will Mark Sanchez fall into a sophomore slump like Matt Ryan did last year? The last time they went to the AFC title game the next year was a huge disappointment, IIRC.

Colts took the Jets best shot in the first half and were only down 4. That TD right before the half was huge for them. No way the Jets could have duplicated what they did in the 1st half again in the 2nd, I knew they were gonna lose without having a bigger lead after that.
