Game Informer has an interview with the producer for the game revealing Kenshi and Scarlet as the first DLC character set.

Kintaro will also arrive in a future DLC character set but not in the initial set.

I haven't followed Mortal Kombat since 3 (played a bit of 4 and Shaolin Monks), but wasn't Armageddon supposed to be last Mortal Kombat of that kind? I have a vague memory reading that the series was going to have a huge reboot.

Looks like a nice MK3-era lineup. Which is good for me, since I didn't touch the series beyond that. I have no idea who any of the characters from the later games are.

I am excited to hear that Kenshi will definitely be DLC, as he's probably my favorite "new" character. Although I wouldn't mind Shujinko either.

Kenshi is one of the few characters I would definately pick up on DLC. Happy he made it. Now if they could add Hotaru later that would be just perfect.

Hotaru was great, easily the best new character in Deception. His storyline was meh and he has a fugly head but I enjoyed playing as him using his alt attire.

You may have to buy new to enjoy the online portion of the game, otherwise you'll have to shell out 10$ when you buy used. We've seen this before so you know the deal.

It is just a rumor but it looks like Xbox 360 will have some exclusive stuff (not counting the exclusive stuff that comes in the collector's edition but its the same for PS3).
