You don't essentially need to figure out tactics, I got to the Champions League with Torquay on just 4-4-2, but as I've found with this tactic I've developed with Arsenal, it can be helpful

Ok I have a question, can I download all skins etc from The Dugout or will that effect the online game ? I was gonna download SuperPack v3 CM4 03/04, and Commentary File for CM4 Season 03/04 V2.01 but I would rather make sure it is ok before I do it...

Also I figured out how to make the screen minimizable which is pretty conveniant

I believe you have to have the same data and same version, skins are fine, but commentary I'm not sure

Also, get v.2.0.4 and 5

I was wondering, do you get anything for finishing 7th in the Premiership ? I am 6th in the league with 2 games to go and Newcastle are 7th 1 point behind me with a 15 game unbeaten run and lately my results haven't been too good.

Doesn't matter now, I beat Portsmouth at home on the last day of the season whilst Newcastle could only manage a draw away to Arsenal. I have bought in about 10 new players and my squad is beginning to look pretty good. I am in the Uefa Cup in my second season. I am pretty proud of myself considering this is my first EVER season on Championship Manager 03/04.

I posted this over at thedugout but no one seems to answer questions over there so I will copy and paste what I wrote and maybe someone here can help me:

Switch McFadden up front if you need to, if you get Robinho it should be enough depth, also look for Carlos Tevez from Boca, he is amazing.

Ok,I signed Robinho and I will have to spend the rest of my transfer budget to start negotiations with Tevez (New club record, £12 million) but now I will have to wait for the work permit. Meanwhile I have signed James Milner and David Bentley both on free transfers. After getting my wage budget back down it looks like it is going to go straight back up with Tevez wanting £40,000 per week. I have got the season off to a pretty good start beating Leeds at home 3-2 and Sunderland away 2-0. When is the draw for the Uefa Cup held, I am deffinatly in it with finishing 6th aren't I ?

I have a pretty decent midfield, here is the team I use now:

GK: Richard Wright
RB: Steve Watson
LB: Gary Naysmith
CB: Robert Huth
CB: Ahmed Reda Madouni
RM: James McFadden
LM: Mark Babic
CDM: Sean Davis
CM: Thomas Gravesen
ATT: Carlos Tevez
ATT: Wayne Rooney

I am 4th in the league after 6 games, winning 4, drawing 1, and losing 1. Also I just beat Loko Plovdiv 2-1 at home in the UEFA Cup 1st round 1st leg.

If your playing Diablo (as seeing from your formation you are) Gravesen is terrible for that position.

Look for a player called Boy-Boy and play him there, he's pretty nifty.

No I didn't use diablo, I downloaded it but I didn't have any midfielders to run right up the pitch apart from McFadden and I wanted him for the wings. I will have a look for the player you mentioned. I found out a pretty decent tactic, i will post a screenshot later.

Post 500 in the thread.

I signed Tevez for Barca but he wasn't too great first season,second season he improved alot because he got an extended run in the team with Tristan not scoring.

Like i say on my current game i am with my fourth side,Real Madrid but i dunno whether to go back to my second,who were Malaga and were relegated but it's more of a challenge there.Incidently i was at my second and third clubs for such a short amount of time that i didn't lose a game with either of them,must've played about 6 in total.

On thedugout i'm sure that when i searched for 4.1.4,it came up with something saying version 0.4 or something like that,might've been something different.

Ok,maybe it was something else then.

Concerning for me is that although i uninstalled the game this morning,when i re-installed it and got the patches it had my saved game from before it was uninstalled on.

So should we start over Easter,if people have school holidays and stuff?

Hmm, at the moment I will be able to start whenever. I think everyone should say when they can start and what time is best for them and if they have any holidays etc coming up so that we can fix a start date.

I know RBF and Mask had a game when i last spoke with Owen.Dazz would probably have one going too so they should be all ok to play whenever.

I'm ok to start for a couple weeks, I go back sometime around the 20th and I'll be away for a couple weeks for exams but I guess I'll have to go on holiday *cringes at the thought of what the comp will do*

I know deathtrap doesn't have 03/04 but he keeps posting in here so I would've thought he'd have gotten it by now
