I don't think we'll see a map until the games released. You'll get tons of concept maps and some of them will get pretty close but other then that they won't let it out until it's done.

I will be doing Tricks on the bike for hours, it would be cool if you can grind down poles and all that.

The bikes have a whole trick system so it's like Matt Hoffman's BMX as a side system in a GTA game. I don't think it will be as quite as advanced but I bet it will be quite similar.

You can buy Slushies in 3 flavors: Thrushy, Mushy, and Frosty.
You buy clothes from GASH again.
El Nuevo Big O’ Supermarket will be one of the supermarkets in the game. Nothing like raging a gunfight in a supermarket.
Beef Bandit, Shaft Hotdogs, Tacocalypse, and the Tarbrush Café are more food places in the game. Beef Bandit and Shaft Hotdogs are rivals where you work for and have to sell hot dogs and smash others stands.

Now pay attention here. Steve Scott, the director in Vice City, is coming back in here to work in Vinewood as a big time director now. That's not all though, he's angry at a little someone named Starkweather. For those of you haven't played Manhunt, Starkweather is the director in that game. Well, apparently he used to work in Vinewood himself and was good friends with Scott who worked with Starkweather on a movie called "Murder Juice". Pretty interesting cross referencing here.

Huge update on the size of San Andreas on Gamespot today. Here are a couple of notes to give you some ideas.

In Vinewood:
- Keep an eye out for such landmarks as the Cathay Theater, the walk of fame, and the famous Vinewood sign, nestled high up in the Vinewood hills.
- You can head up into those hills to find the truly impressive mansions and estates of the Vinewood elite.

In Rodeo:
- Think lots of trendy architecture and beautiful plastic people, and you're thinking the neighborhood of Rodeo.
(It's pretty much where they rich and famous live.)

Downtown:
- You'll be able to zip into and out of the downtown area with ease by riding the Brown Streak railroad, Los Santos' public transportation line.
(Pretty much where everything is happening. Businesses all around and skylines are covered with skyscrapers)

On the topic of streets, each street in San Andreas has a name. There will street signs located throughout that gives you directions to actual building addresses.

Tattooes:
- In keeping with the gangsta rap spirit of the storyline and your surroundings, the tattoos that will be available will be of the gangs-guns-and-girls variety.
- Looks like you just get to chose from included inks but I wouldn't doubt seeing letters as some of them.

Gang Land:
- If you're being chased by the police or by enemy gang members, you can try to lure them onto your home turf and let members of your own gang come to your aid, bailing you out of what would otherwise be a rough situation.
- If you stray into the turf of a rival gang, whether in a car or on foot, you will be attacked, and not even all at once. Gangs will use varying tactics to take you out, by splitting up, sending ahead advance attackers, and using other wily maneuvers.
- You'll see guys greeting each other, talking on street corners, and flashing gang symbols. These are key signs you'll need to watch for.

Ok now this part I'm just going to copy the whole thing because it's amazing...
- Unlike in Liberty City and Vice City, where every car is apparently new right off the lot, the cars of San Andreas aren't always in the best of shape. The rides you'll pick up, even new ones, will get dirty simply from constant use--you'll see dirt showing up around the wheel wells, on the windshield, near impact points after a fender bender, and in other common trouble spots. If you want to keep riding around in style, keep a look out for carwashes that you can use to maintain the sleek look of your vehicle.

Some of the cars you jack will sport some pretty serious damage, too--look for everything from broken windows to loose bumpers and even bullet-riddled doors. Apparently, some of these cars have already seen a good deal of action.

There's also an article up at IGN that talks about the swimming. Pretty basic stuff: push up you stroke, using no stamina, slowly and pressing X makes you go faster. Like running but it's swimming. You can swim underwater and they spent a lot of time on the realistic nature of the water and waterlife. Weather effects the water as well so if it rains, gets really choppy, etc. You'll also be able to hijack boats from the water; moving or stationary. Good stuff so read up on it here.

Yeah, I saw that when I first saw it. Rockstar humor, got to love it.

We managed to take a quick look at the Ssn Andreas map at the pause menu and, even though we can't bring you any images yet, what we can tell you is that Los Santos is in the bottom right of the map. Then to the north is a main waterway, which divides the map in half and there's another, smaller, waterway to the south east. Bearing in mind that Los Santos is as big as Vice City, we have to repeat, this game is MASSIVE.

Just a little detail on the map. OPM had an article up and they gave a little commentary on house robbing. Give it a read, you won't be disappointed.

Our hearts were beating 1 million miles an hour and we have had no understanding of house robberies what so ever. It was around 11pm and we drove into the hood silently in our bullet-riddled Greenwood. We hopped out of the car and snuck around to the front of the house. I then kicked the door open (L1) and aimed my gun around the room. No sign of anyone. I then crept down to a bedroom, to see somebody asleep. I felt sickened of what I was about to do. I pulled out a blade and silently walked up to the sleeping victim, said my part and incised into their throat...

We could now roam around the house without caution, no alarms, nor cameras -- which some houses have. The house was fairly small in diameter, but it was good enough. I was amazed that my gang was still being very cautious while I picked up a TV (L1). I carried the TV out to the car and loaded it into the car. We then hopped into the car and drove off to Downtown to the Pawn Shop. We received $600, and to us... it was the adrenaline rush that was rewarded.
