Well frankly there's some things Steam could use. Like the games and play conditions I mentioned.

I have no allegiance beyond what can allow me to play games I love in the way I love. I won't adjust my preferences to make a certain platform viable.

I like Kinect for things like Nike Fitness. It gave me a technical foul in NBA2k13 for swearing. Hope they can have a turn off feature for games that aren't designed to be like Xbox 360 "Kinect only" games are now.

Whatever with that. It's great to pick one up and rock Albatross on GH:Metallica, or the occasional easter egg (like the achievement from Dishwasher), but I don't need it perpetually attached to my console to play something like Need for Speed.

That's kinda how I feel about the Kinnect. Unless I plan on playing a game that needs it, I unplug the damned thing. Even without the spying fear, I got sick of the accidental commands when the thing even THINKS someone says "XBOX: DO X ACTION!"

But seriously, that was more or less what I was saying. I bet I'd be tired of it in thirty seconds. And I don't even really speak much when gaming unless on a mic or someone else is in the room.

It'd be HILARIOUS to see this implemented in Call of Duty, though.

Or your average MOBA. Both are games where you communicate by screaming obscenities like a 12 year old with tourettes.

I now have to backtrack my remark a bit. Capcom states Dead Rising 3 will have exclusive SmartGlass missions although they are mainly side missions and have no effect on the actual story for the game.

Assuming Amazon is correct, the Xbox One is currently speculated to be launching on November 27. In terms of Xbox history, it would continue the trend of each new Xbox releasing about a week later than the previous (Nov. 15 for Xbox, Nov 22 for Xbox 360).

According to Microsoft, they are investing around $700 million on servers to support their cloud and Xbox Live plans for the upcoming Xbox One console.

According to an engineer from the Titanfall project, the biggest benefit cloud computing will have initially for the Xbox One is the ability to let developers offload a lot of technical and complex stuff to the cloud itself and not needing large teams for game server-based work after a game is released.

According to Microsoft, some of the changes done to the Xbox Live Rep System include separating people based on how much "griefing" they do during multiplayer matches.

Also has some built-in security to ensure your own rep status won't be affected by griefers.

Microsoft rumored to have reversed another decision with the Xbox One this time regarding headsets being bundled with the console. Previously they stated headsets would only be available separately at least for the launch period.

They are still working on making Xbox 360 headsets be compatible by the use of an adapter device for the console.

According to Bloomberg, Microsoft is currently planning on their Windows division boss to become the new boss of the Xbox division.
