UGH...that Scorpion Deathlock and tapout were weak as fuck. GTFO WWE.
Tonight's show was really a huge letdown for the "go home" RAW before a PPV. 0/10. |

Baring a sudden change, probably set for Rollins winning by shenanigans vs Sting and loses cleanly vs Cena due to fatigue. Doubt they'd let Rollins win clean vs Cena or have both matches end in shenanigans. Same for Sting losing cleanly since that would undo today's stuff.

I missed the entire rest of the show. Had to work tonight. And after seeing that Diva's match ending fiasco, I almost don't care.

Just went through the results. Seems like Sting's first win in a WWE ring could have been a bigger deal. I DUNNO.

Sting should have lost, because long-term plans are for Seth Rollins and Big Show to carry the company.

I've decided that I want Cesaro to be the third man at Night of Champions.
* It makes sense that Ambrose & Reigns would reach out to him. * He's meant to be a tough dude, so why would he turn down an opportunity to fight on PPV? * He seems the sort to want to test himself against The Wyatt Family and not be taken in by their fear-mongering bullshit. * It makes him look like a big deal if they have him get a big reveal. So you possibly put the faces over at Night of Champions. Braun gets knocked down by Reigns, and they make a big deal out of that. Wyatt takes out Reigns and Ambrose wipes out Wyatt. This leaves Cesaro and Harper to work the finish. You probably have Cesaro pin Harper after The Neutralizer. On RAW -- maybe even as the opening moments of the show -- Wyatt cuts a promo where he's rebounding from the loss. Wyatt first addresses Cesaro and how people say he's Superman, so he tried to fly in and be a hero. He might be pound-for-pound the strongest man in WWE, and the most talented technical wrestler of the last decade, but his ego will be his own kryptonite. Wyatt reminds Harper that he failed at Night of Champions, so tonight he needs to take out Cesaro. Wyatt then addresses Roman Reigns knocking down Strowman. How does that make Strowman feel? Angry. What does Strowman do to things when he's angry. He breaks them. Roman Reigns didn't win anything at Night of Champions -- he sealed his fate. That leaves Wyatt and Ambrose. He's seen the darkness in Dean's eyes from the moment they met, so tonight he and Ambrose are going to fight into hell and see who the devil favors. Three singles matches set up. Cesaro and Harper go out there and tear it up, as you'd imagine. Cesaro slams Harper down into the Crossface and gets the submission win. Reigns comes out later for his match through the crowd, but he gets clubbed from behind by Strowman, who beats him down the aisle. He tosses Reigns into the ringside area and then spears him through the barricade. An unrelated talent is cutting a backstage interviewer later when shrieks are heard, and someone has found Cesaro laid out with no one around. Ambrose and Wyatt are last. Ambrose is still crazy enough to go out there. He and Wyatt do their thing, but at some point, The Wyatts come down. Ambrose is cornered in the ring, but the lights go out, and when they come back on, Ambrose has a kendo stick. He goes nuts on all three guys, but the numbers are too much. They beat Dean down until that weird music of Erick Rowan's hits. He makes his way out, and he gets in the ring and does a white sheep vs. black sheep stare-down with Strowman. Rowan pulls off his mask...then goozles Ambrose around the throat. Strowman does the same and they Double Chokeslam him. On SmackDown, Bray reveals his last wayward son has returned. Luke Harper was set free and came back and promised his life for Wyatt's, but it was Rowan who took out Cesaro for him. Tonight Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman won't be needed for the mission -- Luke Harper & Erick Rowan will display why The Wyatt Family is unstoppable all on their own. They work a match against two poor saps -- best if they're jobbers. Squashy-squash-squash -- Harper & Rowan win. They stand tall together when Randy Orton's theme hits. Orton makes his way out with a steel chair in hand. As he gets to ringside, the lights go off and when they come back on, Bray Wyatt is standing between Orton and his figurative sons. Strowman then clubs Orton from behind. He tries to fight, but they're all too much. Instead of finishing him, Wyatt wants him to beg for forgiveness. Orton tells Bray to go screw himself. Wyatt tells Orton to have it his way, and the lights go off, but when they go on again, Cesaro, Ambrose & Reigns are in the ring. They're fighting fire with fire. A huge brawl erupts, and Orton goes to RKO Wyatt, but he is pulled out of the ring and helped up the ramp. They do the stare-down, but then the faces rampage them again, and the brawl continues. Harper ends up eating an RKO to protect Wyatt. Anyway, this basically all leads to War Games. |

Actually, instead of doing the lights off with the faces at the end, you have The Shield's music hit, and out comes Reigns, Ambrose & Cesaro in Shield gear. Cesaro can have his own specialized stuff with his own color scheme or something. All White Everything or something.

Yeah Charlotte/Nikki was such a copout. Just continuing to artificially extend the title reign when it really doesn't matter one iota who the longest reigning Divas champion is...especially not when she had gone months without defending it.

I stopped the majority of the show for a couple months, turn on a segment and suddenly Reigns can talk coherently.

I wish they put more emphasis on the record about 4-5 months ago. Bring up the new girls and have them challenge until Charlotte is the last roadblock before she breaks it.
But whatever, takes too much effort |

The whole thing is just laughably forced. I mean come on...even if they planned a super long title reign from the outset, would anybody in the office really have made Nikki fucking Bella the person to do it if she wasn't blowing Cena?

Having the countdown clock only show up 2 weeks ago was a big mistake since they could have done a lot more with Nikki growing more arrogant as time went by. Instead they wasted too many weeks with random matches that meant nothing and Bellas swapping back and forth in heel/face status. Would have made the shenanigans last night be a lot more impactful if Nikki was at the delusional point in breaking the record or did it again had Steph restarted the match.
Been said in other places but really felt like the WWE had no clue what it actually wanted to do with the Revolution storyline after the initial hype. Comes off as them just trying to leech off Team USA and Ronda Rousey's recent popularity in the main stream than really caring about fixing the division for the long term. |

1) Regarding who started Connor's Cure: http://www.pittsburghmagazine.com/Be...-Cure-Charity/
and because of that: https://community.wwe.com/hope/news/...board-trustees 2) WWE won't take women's wrestling seriously. Period. Ever. The closest they ever came to caring was "non-disdain" during the Trish/Lita era. 3) If Erick Rowan ISN'T the third man, it doesn't make sense that Strowman has a black version of his mask. 4) If Stardust ever settles his feud with Neville, I really hope the next feud isn't with the Swiss Superman. 5) OF COURSE it was going to be a setup to try to beat down Sting - we hadn't seen Seth Rollins in action yet. And OF COURSE Cena was going to be the one to come down and save Sting, but why couldn't he pick up Show for an AA when he previously had picked up Show and Edge AT THE SAME TIME. |

I would think/hope that Rowan as the third man is merely a ruse so he can turn mid-match. I want Harper and Rowan teaming up again.

Cesaro should be in the IC and or US title picture not in a random program with Luke Harper. I'm assuming Cena is getting back the US Title. Would be cool to see a Cena-Cesaro program where Cesaro eventually gets that belt. Or if Owens gets the IC, revisit that program.
Seems to me like the mystery partner will just end up being Orton. But maybe they have something more creative in mind. Hey look Sting was presented like a beast on RAW so now Noid can stop complaining. |

It's definitely a brilliant move they made Sting look like a beast on the RAW before the PPV, even if it was the second-lowest rated RAW in years or whatever is up with that. |

Jojo interviews Roman and Dean trying to find out who the third man is going to be. They joke about it, Roman saying Great Khali and Dean saying Savio Vega. They finally settle on Savio. I just want to know why they aren't Down with the Brown? |

Watching the hulu replay. What's this bullocks Nikki Bella is talking about claiming she started the revolution? If by starts she means sucking ass in not knowing how to consistently heel or face it up properly and being awful in the ring to the point of fans wanting the NXT women to take take over, then yes, she did indeed start it.

I'd love Cesaro pushing Cena to the limit, only to fall short, until finally getting the big win, cleanly. Make it a series of three, with match 3 being Cesaro's big win.
