One other thing. I was just going through the warez releases of the PS2 Smackdown Vs. Raw games and both of them have been on a DVD-5 (4.7gb). The PS2 could use DVD-9 (8.5gb) discs so if they wanted more content, they've still got another 3.8gb to play with anyways.

I don't think that. HOWEVER, I doubt that there will be the finishers of wrestlers planned to be DLC in CAW mode. If Kendrick isn't in the game initially, don't expect to see Sliced Bread #2 or even the Dudley Dog to give people a reason to buy the new wrestlers.

Id love to know wtf the point is of removing legends and adding new ones? Is it too much to ask to keep the legends from previous years in so a legends roster can build up?

It doesnt matter how good this game looks it will never surpass No Mercy for N64.On top of that Fire Pro Returns is being released in the US for the PS2 and any self respecting gamer knows that gameplay and infinite customization beats graphics and songs cutting of to early during the entrance if its to long.God I hate that so much.

Wow...I was always under the impression that the 360 games were HDDVD (even if numerous people proved otherwise)! Maybe because of the PS3 being Blu Ray, may've only made sense for the 360 to use the competing higher capacity format.

360 is Dual Layer DVD9. Where as PS2 was only single layer DVD5 I believe.

Honestly at that rate I think the lowest OVR on the regular roster will be like an 85 or something (probably to Kenny Dykstra or one of the Cryme Tyme members)

I love Matt and all but damn. I hope edit mode lets us change everything, including brand and OVR ratings

Having seen the roster for this years game, I have to admit to being grossly disinterested in this installment, which is a shame because I've been a huge fan of the series since Here Comes The Pain. I've always been excited about the release of each game, but this has little new to offer, and follows the apparent SVR trend of taking more away with one hand than it gives with the other.

I should reserve judgement until I've played it, but I'm certainly not going to fork out for a next gen console for the sake of this game, as I had considered earlier in the year. If I buy it at all, it will be on the PS2.
