Pointless stats is what the real problem is. Droford should be a homer and fuck everybody who isn't a homer. It just means your team sucks. Deal with it.

Shouldn't they be Broncos fans now?

I actually agree with Droford. Romo is so much better than he gets credit for. What if RGTree chokes? What would people do? They couldn't handle that.

I have faith Tony Romo will win this game for the Cowboys. He has played pretty well for the past few weeks.
Da Bears though are going to put a old fashion whopping on the Lions (With the Vikings losing) this week. Tomorrow is like a extra playoff week with all the must wins (For playoff berths or home field)! |

I mean I was a Redskins fan up till like the 5th grade and when they're winning, and sometimes when they just think they will, Skins fans can be downright unbearable, and I wasn't about to cheer for Dallas because their fans were the same, if not worse. Super Bowl 26 is the biggest reason I'm a Broncos fan, I wanted a team no one around here would be a fan of, that and Joe Gibbs retiring the first time. |

Honestly, I have faith in Romo but as decimated as the defense is I have a feeling he'd have to score a touchdown on pretty much every drive. Can't see them slowing down Washington in the slightest.

I like that Garrett has been putting the game in Romo's hands more over the past few weeks and not being so conservative. Unfortunately it's coinciding with the defense falling apart.

If 4 PM rolls around and the Giants and Lions have both won, then I'll really start to feel really optimistic about the Giants somehow playing January football.
The Vikings are good but with Green Bay actually having something to play for I don't see them winning. And while I don't think the Redskins are really good or anything, I'm just conditioned to think the Cowboys will cock up in a meaningful game. As much fun as it is to make fun of Romo though, a loss tomorrow will clearly be on the defense. So many injuries. |

The biggest surprise is going to be the pats losing to the dolphins which as a ravens fan I don't want because it would equal rematch with Bengals in wild card game plus likely div round match up with Denver and not Houston. I can't see the pats and Houston losing to prevent that. The ravens road to the super bowl is pretty much confined to indy-houston-new England. If the seeds all stand as is and no upsets wild card, the pats are the only team that can beat the broncos in the afc.
Nfc wise, I think seeds stay the same and with the cowboys and bears winning I definitely see the Seahawks vs packers for the nfc championship. Packers beat bears and 49ers, Seahawks over cowboys and falcons. |

I don't feel confident knowing that the help the Giants need rest solely on the shoulders of Matthew Stafford.

You should feel confident that The Giants playoff hopes also rest on Andy Reid and Michael Vick.

It'd be the most Giants thing ever to lose to Reid and Vick in embarassing fashion, ensuring they stick around.

If the 9ers baste the Cards then they win the west. If they beat the Cards and GB loses to the Vikings then we get the first bye. Adrian Peterson, god speed.

If the Bears and Vikings lose, the Redskins are locked into a 6 seed at the worst and would know who their potential 3 seed opponent would be.
As I think about it...the Skins could conceivably decide that they match up better against the 3 seed team than the 5 seed (which will probably be the shit hot Seahawks). I know you want to be able to host a playoff game regardless of opponent...BUT it is possible they'd rest starters after a few series and just let Dallas take the division and play Seattle. |

Bears won't lose, sorry!
don't think the Redskins will let Dallas have the division on any terms. As much sense as that makes it also hurts the team financially. That home game will bring in a ton of revenue. |

With the Redskins it's probably got more to do with the fact that they've been shit for so long. I can see why they'd want to give their fans a division title and a home playoff game for the first time since the 90's I believe. That being said I'd much rather play the Niners than the Seahawks at this point. Seattle seems to be the team that has "peaked".

Of the potential 3 seeds the Giants can play, the order of preference I'd have is: 49ers, Packers, Seahawks. Nothing against SF or GB, but at least the Giants have proven they can win there. If Seattle gets a playoff home game, look the fuck out.
If the football gods decide the Giants ain't making it this year, I hope their fate is sealed by 4 PM one way or another. Don't want Dallas to end up kicking the G-Men in the balls with a late field goal or something. ![]() |

If it happens for the Giants, that'd be great but I don't see everything breaking their way. Giants put themselves in a huge hole, and it's completely their fault.

Think the Giants get the losses needed from Dallas and the Vikings but can't see the Bears loosing against the Lions that's been really horrible on both sides of the ball.
Already some firings have been announced: * Jets getting rid of OC Tony Sparano * Browns getting rid of both their coach and GM * Jags tossing out GM Gene Smith. * Eagles, Chiefs, and Cards expected to fire their coaches and/or GMs. Biggest surprise is the Lions hinting there is a small possibility Jim Schwartz gets fired. |
