Not for nothing but I wonder how far Derrick Bateman would have gotten in WWE were he given an actual role on the main roster after NXT.

I remember wanting a Bryan/Bateman tag title run so badly although that not happening gave rise to Team Hell No.

Probably low mid-card at best considering how poorly WWE has handled the majority of NXT call ups.

Him going to TNA and the EC3 persona has done wonders for revitalizing his career.
