LOL That's the greatest rant I ever read on the game.

You're most likely giving scrubs too much credit in the match. Just relax and observe, you'll find that they are predictable scrubs who set themselves up for a fall more often than not. Keep that anger in check, you read like someone who lets his emotions run his game. Keep your Yomi level as high as 1 or 2 and you'll see how stupid these scrubs really are.

Me and Khuntry's latest session didn't end so one sided this time. My mental training and option-brainstorming helped me out. And my Ken seems more dangerous as a result. Awesome. And Cammy's finally getting at a level I want her to be.

My Sagat is still disgustingly beastly. I tend not to use him though if I can help it because beyond my being good with him, I also understand how strong he is in this version. My Gen is becoming VERY acceptable and I fucking love using him because you don't see a lot of him which makes him touch to defend. My Cammy is getting better. I'd like to have a decent Dhalsim but I just don't have the patience. I've also given up on my quest to become a strong Abel player. He plays too defensive/counter attack based for my liking and I get raped when I use him as result.

Also, fuck people who are actaully good with Abel. They make me hate life.

Actually, I find Abel plays better on the attack. Marsielles roll should be used more for posistioning than as a defensive move. Abel's only big defensive move is his anti air throw. The Change of Direction move should be the move you use most, as there are lots of ways to link into it, and it's follow up can hit high or low, making it unpredictable.

I may have to give Abel another shot. I just outright could not do what I wanted with him. His change of direction is great though, I will agree with that.

Playing around today, I found myself maybe the most interested in what I could do with Abel. Might put some time into learning him.

Feel like I might be able to try a half decent Fei Long as well.

Finally had a day of mostly wins today.

A couple scrubs but most of the matches were against people with skill, although not quite on roxer's level. This one guy gets mad at me for beating him apparently, and goes straight for seth. But, as I said, seth is balanced in human hands, and I proved it by demolishing him the first round with akuma, and getting a perfect in the second. Cocksucker disconected after the final hit tho, so I don't think I got credit for it.

Haven't played SF since Super II but I'm really really interested in getting this. Would need a proper stick/pad though cause I tried playing II when it came out on Live and it was impossible.

I get the feeling by the time I actually get the thing and practice enough to get to a decent level everyone will have moved on to something else

I'm never playing with Khuntry every again.

I'm not one to call "bullshit" too often, but that was a bit much. I don't mind grapplers, I can execute a good stratagy around it but that was redicoulus. You were 500 yards away, executed a grab, and it somehow got me. Every time.

Maybe a little bit of hyperbole there but there was PLENTY of space between you and me and you somehow got the grab 100% of the time.

Or there were times when you would get me on the recovery. I haven't even begun my kip-up motion, you execute a grab, I kip-up into your crossed arms from the missed grab, and next thing I know I'm being shoulder thrown. I think the final sttraw was when you special grabbed as Zangief and I couldn't do anything to prevent it.

You are real good, no doubt. But my tiny, fragile heart cannot handle such bullshit.

LOL There's several ways around it, at least to lessen it. Back-dashes and moderation help. And you have no business being up close to 'Gief in the first place. You know he wants to be up close so play his advancement. These aren't perfect strat since I'm still give and take with Khuntri, myself, but I found you issue parallels my first session with him.

Cammy's Cannon Drill is also a great way to undermine the move, but's still deadly used right.

But 90% of shoto fanboys have little idea how to use them. They'll play Ryu/Ken/Akuma pretty much the same. No use of command attacks or exclusive priorities, it gets annoying.
