I noticed when people got double teamed, that the ringout meter stopped going down. Dunno if thats ment to happen or what.

I have some info from the online testing

August 12, 2004 - The 4000 grappling fans lucky enough to take part in Sony Computer Entertainment's online beta test for WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW received some disheartening news today as it was revealed that the process has been delayed for a week. The official drop date for eligible testers is now next Friday, August 20.


We'll keep you updated with more as it becomes available.

I would play with Paul London all the time. Plus, his moveset would make it much easier to create guys like AJ Styles.

Bret Hart is a nice addition. I wonder who the other legends will be, they are going to reveal another one each day for a few days.

EDIT: and how did A-Train make the cut? I haven't seen him since the roster trade thing.

I hate playing with the Cruisers because all there moves seem to be pinning combinations. When I play say exhibition with someone I like to beat the shit out of guys with power moves. I hate when a Crusier does a move and it goes into a pin and then I have to break the count cause I don't want to pin.

It kind of shocks/disappoints me, I was thinking they'd announce everyone 1-by-1 in normal countdown style.

Maybe they realized that the roster was lacking so many worthy names (including 5 champions as well as one of the biggest names on Raw now) and included so many non-worthy guys that fans would get disappointed so they just decided to get it over with.

I'm still looking forward to this game A LOT - but, my anticipation has dropped greatly when I saw the final roster.

My roster ends up being mostly CAWs anyway. The confirmed roster just saves me from having to create a few people like Orton and Jericho.

They didn't really have much to work with this year though as far as fire power. I mean, with guys like Brock and Berg gone (two drawing points for the last game) and guys like Big Show out, and several talents released, they are going to have to rely on legends a bit to sale the game. I mean to the average fan, La Resistance, and Billy Kidman aren't huge drawing points

You guys seriously play with all the guys on HCTP though? I think I've played with about 10 guys more then once since I have gotten it. I use my 1 created guy almost all the time. So the roster doesn't bother me because I won't play with half those guys. And I'll take Online mode (if it's in) over the guys that didn't make the cut any day.

But I can see why people would be disspointed if they play with everybody a lot of times.

I played one match with everyone, simply because I was bored and wanted to see everyone's move set. So I ran through from beginning to end. Huge waste of time. I mostly played with Brock and HBK last game.

I only have used my created guy in season mode too. And I've played through it about 8 times. I have a problem with losing though where I have to win all the time. So I always have all the Belts. That's why I never use anybody else in season except my created guy because I would probably lose a match. It's like a sickness I have.

Even in sports games season modes I have to have a perfect record sometimes and I'll shut the game off and restart if I'm about to lose. Can't help it.
