Yeah, that seems like a logical matchup. It'd also be a perfectly logical end point for Taker's career 25 years after it started, but realistically there's zero chance he doesn't wrestle at WM32 in Texas.

made me cringe when the crowd chanted "This is Awesome" at Bray putting Roman through a table.

They could be bombing on a segment and just bring out a table and put someone through it and save everything. That's probably why they did it

Cesaro totally owned that tag match when he got the hot tag at the end. Still can't fathom this idea that he'll always flounder around doing nothing because Vince finds him "boring". Crowd were into him. Guy's on fire.

Even Michael Cole said "Cesaro was incredible in that match". I can only imagine that there's loads of people behind the guy, backstage, but ultimately Vince rules them all out.

He looked good on Sunday. Everybody noticed the crowd reaction.

His challenge is to keep that going week in week out.

Then and only then will he get a bigger push.

He struggles holding the audience for long periods of time. He's been getting better recently though. I know people enjoy the swing, but you have to be able to bring people up and down first. He used to be terrible at that part of the game. And the promos are still a problem. He might need to be kept in tags to hide his shortcomings.

Don't be silly. Don't you know that Cesaro is incapable of connecting with the audience? It's all his fault.

I think another Taker/Wyatt feud would be great. I think Taker will join them for Survivor Series but turn on them in the match. The family has gotten stronger since WM and that makes Bray stronger. Undertakers about the only person I could see the family working with right now anyway.

After all that, Taker then reveals that he planned the whole thing and him and the Wyatts take over and then about 6 months later...the return of STING! It's gonna be mostly Bray vs Sting in the meantime since Taker will avoid him until it culminates to a Sting vs Taker Wrestlemania match.

Thought the show was pretty standard fare, as in nothing overly important taking place for the most part.

Del Rio returning is nice, though I worry he'll just be midcard fodder same as he was when he left. We shall see, however.

What cab be said of Taker/Lesnar that hasn't been said already? Back to back stellar matches and easily two classics for each men. Loved the violence of it all, loved the blood, the finish, everything.

I'm not excited about Wyatt re engaging however. They let him singlehandedly build their last feud, only to feed him to Taker with no mention thereafter. Doesn't help he's coming off losing a feud to Reigns that dragged on a while and only further cemented Wyatt as a big game loser. If this feud is meant to really push and solidify Wyatt as a main event player then great. But I have little faith he's going to come out of this feud any differently than he did in the Reigns and Cena runs.

As for Lesnar, hehas to start chasing the belt right? I'd really like to see him enter the Rumble. It's a fresh environment for him, as he's only been in way back in 2003.

Think Reigns going into Survivor Series, challenging Rollins, makes a lot of sense, and is a perfect environment to have Rollins drop the belt to Reigns via Authority screw job, anointing Reigns the new champ, turning Rollins face and putting the Hunter/Rollins feud on track for a mania match.

The rematch for the December show is built in, and possibly a Rumble match as well before Rollins gets tired of being shafted and challenges Hunter at mania, while new face of WWE Reigns takes on Rumble winner Lesnar at Mania 32, with Lesnar's year long chase culminating.

That makes a lot of sense.

Survivor Series is the home of the screwjob, so having Reigns go heel with The Authority would work well. Build to Lesnar-Reigns 2 for Mania.

Only downside is then what do you do with The Rock? Or is that not happening now? If Reigns-Lesnar, Hunter-Rollins are the top matches, you're missing on that star power match to put the show over the top.

I have dreams of Mick Foley coming out of retirement to team with the Rock to take on New Day and put them over the same way they did Evolution 11 years ago. The Rock v trombone equipped Xavier Woods promos just sound awfully entertaining and it' puts the white hot New Day in about as high a profile tag match as humanly possible.

I think Foley brings down The Rock. I wouldn't mind Big E or Xavier Woods vs Rocky though.

Observer shot down rumors regarding Vince going crazy in the back once Lesnar and Undertaker got busted open and refused to halt the match.

Quote:
Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio said "nothing happened" backstage with Vince being mad at Brock last night. He said Brock is a guy that "can't be bullied," because there's always the threat he'd just take his ball and go home if Vince really lays into him for the blood after putting on a great match.

Meltz admitted there was some "commotion in the gorilla position" during the match, but "nothing was said" afterwards. According to Meltz Brock has the financial security to step away if he wants to, and Vince knows this, so (and I quote) "he's not gonna get yelled at like he's Dolph Ziggler."

However, he said that while it was likely intentional, he doubts Brock used a blade, because Vince would indeed fine for that. But he also said "Brock knows how to bust himself open hardway."
In regards to a blade job or not, Lesnar needed staples to close his wound.
SPOILER: show

I read that Alberto Del Rio is still the current AAA Mega Championship holder or something? Did he officially vacate it and the info hasn't been updated?

No he's still their Mega champion. One of the owners or upper management of AAA teased on Twitter something special is going to happen soon and somewhat implied at a WWE-AAA deal being made for Del Rio.
