Greggy-IGN, the new person doing the Countdown, posted this on IGN Smackdown boards yesterday.

Hey--

The HIC match is more than 17 minutes long. It's processing now and taking forever.

Look for an updated hands-on Monday along with a handful of movies showing off the ECW Extreme Rules Match, exclusive features for the PS3 and 360, and more.

Now, back to 24/7 mode.

If the option will able you to edit attributes, you wouldn't be able to lower Cena's overall, he will be untouchable, as the WWE might be scared more fans would go out and "boo" Cena.

They'd probably have it like here comes the pain, if you got their attributes up in edit mode then you can press right on the d pad to make it come up as their edited attribs like they did in HCTP with the season mode attribs. Then they would have it so you can only use normal attribs for online

But seriously, with the addition of the Extreme Rules match, I would hope that this means we’ll see all the superstars and divas actually back to where you can do whatever the fuck you damn well please with the tables, instead of having like 95% of the roster do a generic table DDT maneuver, save for a Chokeslam From Hell or an F-U (of the very few finishers I can remember that worked on tables in ’07...and even those were preset animations through the table from the side of it, you couldn't even be standing on top of it with your opponent and use your finisher to put them through it.) I just hope THQ realizes what a huge misstep that was and has it rectified in this year’s (the 9th) iteration of the SmackDown!/SD!vs.RAW series.

Also, place your bets on tonight's Countdown superstar or, possibly diva.

Yeah. I know it's still early in the "info" department on the game, but if they can show off flaming tables, they could easily put an Inferno Match into the game. Just have the UCM system for when you or your opponent gets dragged over to the ropes and have like a struggle bar similar to the one in the Buried Alive match to have you and your opponent battle to either burn your opponent or escape the hellfire and brimstone, and based on the area of the body targeted (i.e.: hands), depending on the amount of damage taken by that body part in the game (None, Yellow, Orange, Red, Red & Bloody) it would be either very easy, moderately easy, moderately difficult or very difficult to stop yourself from being burned. This of course coupled with your momentum & fatigue levels, and it would work similarly for the person who was trying to burn you. If they were all bloody and beaten to a pulp whilst trying to burn you it most likely wouldn't work out.

Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there.
