I really don't think the Mets will ever throw a no-hitter...they've been around since 1962 yet despite all the great pitchers they've had they have yet to get one. Pretty certain its a curse because they traded away Nolan Ryan and he went on to throw like 7 no-nos.

Mike Piazza has retired. Can't believe nobody wanted to sign him...I'm a little shocked the A's didn't sign him before the Jays released Frank Thomas.

Nationals Park is seriously run by a bunch of cocksuckers. They won't let you into any part of the stadium under the 300 level at all unless you have a ticket. You can't sit in a seat and eat an hour before the game, or go to different sections during a rain delay, or sit in the left field stands in the bottom of the 9th inning while the place is half empty.

Kershaw looked solid. I'm very excited as a baseball fan to see more of this kid.

As for those damn Mets....Tomorrow is the moment of truth. Will he or won't he get fired? My guess is he will probably get till the All Star break, but I wouldn't be shocked if they did decide to fire him. I heard Jon Heyman on the fan about an hour ago saying that he won't be fired, but that was his own opinion.

Time will tell in the end. Something has gotta be done, we look so flat and need a jump start. Also we better keep Nick Evans in and playing for the time being, I don't want to see him riding the bench for Endy, I like Endy but we brought the kid up and its best to let him play. But it is Willie, and he yanked him today after 2 AB`s, but we'll see...

I hate how some managers think that just anybody can play outfield or first base. It isn't that simple. Nick Evans has played like 2 games in left field in his whole life and that was during high school or something. So stupid.
