But I agree. Adam Johnson should have been in there. Bent should have been in there. Others I'm forgetting should have been in there.

TBH the only ones I could reasonably think have any right to hold their heads up after that are James and Cole.

Parker is another. Why is Carragher anywhere near the team? Cole is fucked. Joe Cole should be in that team ahead of Wright-Phillips.

No cohesion in that team, it was right through their play.

Yeah. The thing is if Barry didn't actually make some crucial interceptions in the box, I'd probably be maoning about putting another recovering player into the team but I guess he proved his value to the team with that. I'd be tempted to go 4-5-1, remove Heskey and push one of Gerrard and Lampard closer to Rooney but I'm not sure it's the right time to mess with the formation when Slovenia is now a must win game.

I think at this point I might just be happy not to see Heskey and Wright Phillips at all next game.

Guess it depends on how those carying injuries are getting on and who are concerns for the Slovenia game. Haven't read any news today yet so I'll get on that now. Should be interesting.

I don't necessarily agree with the booing but for people who've spent ££££££££ travelling there to show their support you can't blame them. Slovenia have looked a tidy if somewhat dull side so far, even though we beat them not that long ago it's a different set of circumstances now. Still, this is pretty much what being a Wolves fan is like all year round, only England (supposedly) have better players.

God the world cup can be a bit shit when you consider England can still quite easily top their group and it would be fucking unreal if they didn't qualify as they'll clearly go and beat Slovenia who despite being 2 points clear at the top won't get through which will be a cunt for them, so blessed they got handed such an atrocious group. But tbh with their team and talent I could easily just see them turn it on against Slovenia and go on a run in the knockouts. What's it got to do with being a minnow? Support is support. You get behind your country no matter what if you're passionate. I'm not denying that there's fans in Wales that will only turn up when the team's winning. But it's a completely different argument to compare Wales to England. England is the home of the best league in the world. Qualification should be your minimum expectation, and should go without saying really with the team you have, yet you all cum when you win your qualification group. And it's us Welsh, Scottish and Irish that have to put up with all of your hype and expectations about winning the world cup or a euro championship when you've done nothing since 1966 to warrant such expectations.

It is, and we don't. I don't know where you got that from. Perhaps there was a bit more fanfare this time after screwing up the Euro qualifications but otherwise I don't remember anyone getting particularly excited about qualifying.

To be fair we did win the group quite convincingly, there was only really Spain in the Uefa section that were more convincing. I'm sure if everyone wrote off the team from the beginning we'd all be labelled ungrateful. I think there is only me that can be accused of being ungrateful here
