I think the chances are much slimmer than 45% of staying with the Cubs. I would not be surprised to see him in a Giant, Mariner or White Sox uniform next year, all 3 desperately need a shortstop. I don't know where you got Dodgers/Angels/Red Sox from, Eckstein, Izturis, and Cabrera are all solidifed.

Well, Nomar is from So Cal, so if he wants to go back, I'm sure the Dodgers or Angels will consider it, but I agree both infields are pretty solid already. I'd see him going to the Angels right now over the Dodgers, if that happened since eckstein and kennedy aren't "that" great.

And its not Cabrera, its Cora.

Dodgers has always been a rumor because he's from CA and the new owner is/was a boston Businesman.

At least according to the sox site and Francona, Lowe is going to the Pen for the ALDS, could change for the ALCS, but I wouldn't count on it. Personally I question even putting Lowe on the playoff roster.

Gammons said the other day the way the Astros games fall, they could pitch Clemens/Oswalt for all 5 games...

Remember a few years ago when SD went to the WS and Kevin Brown pitched like every other game?

Anyway, begining of the year I got a Clemens and Schilling jersey and called an Astros/Red Sox WS... still got some hope there!

Wow, I didn't think you could get any more clueless, The whole league has always said the Yanks buy championships. Red Sox fans stopped saying this once we got the new ownership who found ways to make more money and hence spend it, so No, Sox Fans don't cry that the Yanks buy championships, But the rest of the league does cry that the Yanks, Sox and I'll add Dodgers buy wins that the rest of the league even w/ the salary tax can't afford. However, (different subject) I blame some of that on the other owners who don't spend the luxury money they get on payroll. If the sox lose it's never their fault? WTF, you really are clueless... let's see... Buckner shouldn't have been in and they still had a game 7, Pedro shouldn't have been in last year... the list goes on. Only game I can really think of that wasn't 100% the Sox fault was the I think ALDS, maybe ALCS a few years back in fenway when there were 2 "phantom tags" that weren't even close to touching players in the base path and were called out. Those were bad calls.

Really Miz, I think you need to stick to things that you know about, this clearly isn't one of them. I mean, I'm sorry if nomar is your fav player and you sleep w/ his card under your pillow, or your a yankees fan who's afraid you might actually lose a playoff series to the Sox... but it's only a game, life does go on.

Nomar has talent, no question about that, when healthy he's a top 5, maybe even top 3 SS in the league. That being said, over the last few seasons he was a selfish player and the Sox did the right thing and got a good deal by trading him. The man is a whiner and paranoid, which I'm thinking the paranoid may somehow be tied to obsesive compulsive, but I don't know enough about the disorder to say that for sure. The cubs own media and fans are ripping the cubs, everyone from Baker who always gets accused of burning out his arms, Sosa who keeps shrinking and hitting less home runs, Nomar who missed key games in the stretch run... plus their whining... Jesus, go out and play and win, that's how you shut people up.

I really have no idea. I just think for some reason he will end up on the Giants. They could really use him plus that whole "Cali" thing I hear about all the time. I don't know though, I have never heard Nomar say he ever wanted to play in Cali, everyone just assumes it. Nomar is still one of my favorite players, I am not gonna be a bitch like a lot of other Red Sox fans and believe and the BS and hate Nomar or something.
