It might work in some situations, but certainly not here. If I enjoy posting about areas I think AEW is bad at, or parts of AEW that are comical to me, why can't I just have my fun without the turds like Screech and Crippy having to ruin that for me? It is the exact same thing, except in this case they are upset because I am enjoying something they do not, and they tell me fuck you because they are jealous of the fun I am having. It is a stretch at best anyways. I have not said really anything negative about AEW shows in months, so this idea that I am upset other people watch AEW makes zero sense. I watch the shows, I havent missed a Dynamite since the week after Wrestlemania when I needed a break after watching wrestling like 10 days straight. I have every right to point out something I dislike as anybody else, and I do it because it deserves to be criticized, not because it might make somebody else upset. |

No, not all of it is good. Of course not. But a lot of it people just want to be horrible or are actually not as smart as they think they are when they discount it. And a lot of that is, in my opinion, perpetuated by a lot of the “wrestling media.” For example, you will Dave Meltzer criticise WWE for something he won’t AEW. Kidnappings was a semi-recent one I remember. Quote:
And you have cooled off on the product. I haven’t. I don’t feel like I have to. I don’t like what I’ve seen. They’ve made one of my favorite wrestlers of all-time someone I don’t care about at all. Actually, they’ve done that with two. I’m not obligated to like them. Nor am I obligated as someone plugged into the wrestling community to be nice to them. Nor am I obligated to disengage because I don’t like what they do. Why was it okay to shit all over WWE for the past 20 years (and it was okay), but suddenly you are a dick if you criticise a product? TNA copped it too. You’re not a dick because you don’t like something. Nor are you a dick if you explain why you don’t like it. But you could be a dick if you call other people a dick for daring to explain that. |

Bro nothing he does is cool. If anything, that makes Dana White sound like a tool for even knowing who Meltzer and Tony are. https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/20...the-ubs-arena/ "LOOKY LOOK WE ALMOST DID IT, WE ARE SO COOL AND I AM A GREAT PROMOTER!!!" ~ Tony Khan |

I feel like AEW is at a sort of potential crossroads. They are coming to the end of deals on a lot of the initial signings and there is a plethora of name talent available to sign from ROH and WWE especially, not to mention NJPW stars.
AEW definitely is trying to develop some younger talents like 2.0/Garcia, Darby, Lucha Express, Starks and others but it's hard to imagine guys like Strowman, EC3, Jeff Hardy, Gargano, Keith Lee, Wyatt, The Briscoes, Bandido, Jay White and so many more getting overlooked for some of the guys on the roster right now. I mean if AEW had to lose Moxley and Jericho for whatever reason, they have so many options to fill those spots. Not that I want that to happen btw but you never know. Initially I was underwhelmed with AEW's roster because they lost a lot of potential talent to NXT deals and a few to ROH and others to scandals. But now AEW could have a super talented and quite famous roster, one that would top what they've had so far. I'm ready for a new year in AEW. This year was they Omega run which mostly was just okay, only really got interesting before the Barbed Wire Match and then in the summer. I hope we get a fresh AEW for 2022. |

There is lots of talent out there. And they will offer almost everyone deals. The problem is that with a finite amount of time, stories are only going to be able to be given so much emphasis. So they’re either going to need to expand (bad idea…in theory), or start picking and choosing who they need to focus on (good idea…in theory). The problem will be when acts that shouldn’t be focused on, but are popular with the AEW audience (Orange Cassidy, The Dark Order) are either dropped or kept. If they are dropped, AEW fans might be run off while newer audiences don’t necessarily find the product. If they are kept, it doesn’t matter what you do — no one can take anything on that show seriously. Add Brock Lesnar throwing bitches around and it’ll still be capped at a certain level.
Like with WWE, I sadly think the only way forward with them is to expand to the point that the negative influence of the person in charge can’t infest every corner. WWE needs to have so much content ordered that something outside Vince McMahon’s scope makes it to air in a prominent context. Hopefully Tony Khan buys ROH and someone else books it with access to CM Punk and Bryan Danielson. |

Last show in Bridgeport was NXT Takeover 25 in 2019, which was headlined by Cole beating Gargano for the title.

UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Bridgepit of all places AEW wants to make its debut in Connecticut. Although now that I think of it, they should push it back a few months and do the new Ampitheater next door. I hear that place is great. The arena is a ghost town these days. |

The arena in Bridgeport is pretty much the perfect size for AEW. Also I can get there in like 30-40 min so that's cool with me.

Eric Bischoff released another podcast talking about how the AEW signings haven’t been working. As a long-time critic of Bischoff’s, it’s frustrating to admit that he’s been pretty spot-on with this company.

Lol, a fan questioned Brandi Rhodes’ wrestling skill on Twitter and Brandi responded by talking about how she’s been paid a lot of money so she must be good.

CM Punk has been dethroned from the best t-shirt seller of the week. That goes to the ironic love for Hook. That should tell you how little merchandise this promotion is moving.

Yes. Hook’s t-shirts are the best selling shirts on ProWrestlingTees.com for the week of his debut.

I'm behind on Dynamite & Rampage but apparently the crowd was super into Hook either last week or last night.
Didn't think that would happen. Nice that he both has a shirt and that he's a top-seller. Good shit. |

To be fair, they have done an absolutely brilliant job of dampening the buzz of Punk and Danielson. WWE-esque in how swiftly they have become just other guys on the roster.
