A-Rod's rep confirms that he will not play again in 2016.

He hasn't ruled out keeping in shape and playing in 2017. Since the Yankees are on the hook for his salary any team that signs him would just have to pay league minimum.

Maybe a few AL teams float offers bring him aboard to try to market the chase for 700 home runs. At the same time though, any team that does that is basically advertising that they don't really view themselves as contenders. Tough to imagine A-Rod bothering at this point.

Shrieve is brutal. I know it was Swarzak and Warren who fell apart first, but I've not seen Shrieve do anything impressive.

I don't know what's worse, being the team to lose 1-0 and blow 1st and 3rd with 1 out in the ninth or being the team to blow a 6-0 lead after the fifth inning following a rain delay.

I know blowing the game is quite shit, but one is blowing a good pitching/defensive performance the other is wasting a great bit of hitting.

Gary Sanchez seems like he could be pretty good. Fuck Brian Mccann that fat sac of shit.

I'm not trying to brag, but the Cubs pitching will destroy everyone in the playoffs. I cant see anyone beating them. I'm not even counting there amazing defense and great bats. The pitching alone is incredible.

Its sureal. As a life long Cubs fan, i cant believe i'm watching a Cub team this good. It's incredible. Watching them night in and night out i'm like..." Wow! ". I dont even know how to describe it and the fucking crazy thing is, they're doing it without Schwaber. Like this team actually could be so much better right now if Kyle Scwarber doesnt tear is knee up. It's incredible. I think we're going to win the World Series.
