I can imagine it's their way of coddling the servers. But it's absolute shit. I have no time to make CAWs and even if I did...guess what? They'd fucking blow and get terrible reviews. I had next to no issues with the servers last year with the game as it was.

Yeah, no idea why they are doing this as the servers were great last year. AT the very least we can all download each others stuff and give 5 star reviews so we can all rank up a bit faster.

In Smackdown vs Raw 2011 I got the highest rank without even playing a single match by submitting WCW cruiserweight CAWs. Although I had just had knee surgery, so I had plenty of time to sit around logo editor and get them all looking good.

From Neogaf regarding rosters in WWE games. Could explain why legends get included every year since I assume it must be cheaper to use them than including the entire roster every year. Probably just a flat rate or check compared to the current guys.

The only reason I downloaded people's stuff was to make story modes with the stuff and upload them.

The ranking means nothing to me because I have no reason to download shit except for maybe Tyler Breeze or the Vaudveillians.

They didn't add anything to justify removing Story Mode. Fuck that shit.

Everything counts towards the 10 downloads, not just CAWs. Arenas,movesets, logos, everything. For those that like to set up Promotions like TNA, ECW, WCW, etc. in their Universe, it's kind of a pain in the ass.

Honestly, 2k13 and 2k14 never gave me any problems. I was always able to search and download stuff very smoothly.

One good bit of news: Superstar Threads have been removed, and you can now edit what existing superstars wear.

The bad news: Each alternate attire you create takes up a CAW slot. Not great since there are only 25.

So no paint tool and 25 slots... So the amount and quality of CAWS is dropping drastically.... ugh. That's really fucking lame, especially considering I have like 85 CAWS total in wwe2k14

And editing current guys is awesome, it counting towards one of the 25 is not... How badly do I want an accurate Ambrose or Rollins? Of course it's going to be harder to get Rollins right since the paint tool is gone...

Actually, the increase in quality of CAWs is why there is only 25 slots, according to 2k. They said being on a new system, and still figuring things out, they were only able to stretch the available slots so far while making the CAWs look as close to in game superstars as possible. They say as they become more knowledgable about developing on the console they'll be able to put more slots in future games.

If that's true, then in the long run it could be worth it. Still sucks in the now, and we'll have to wait until the game comes out to see if it was really worth it.
