It garnered a lot of reaction. At the end before they went to commercial you could hear the fans chanting "HBK".

The sad thing was, I actually didn't think the Conway/Venis match was that bad, I'm also surprised nobody mentioned how ORANGE Val was. It went a little long, but the finish was cool. Oh, and Val should use that leg lock for his new finisher, that looked vicious.

Fans made the match worse than it actually was. It had fairly good timing, and the Con-man has potential, if only he didn't look like a member of the Village People...

HBK saved the show...

And as far as Shelton's botch of the week, I don't blame this one on him. Afterall, he was trying to jump off another mands hands, which are a lot less sturdy then the apron or the ropes... Honestly, I was surprised he even cleared the ropes like that.

Also, they should run a concussion angle with Shelton, that leads him to get amnesia and think he's a member of an extreme militant sect of the Black Panthers.... I'm just saying. Then he can fued with Kerwin.

I think you guys are being overly critical to be honest.I enjoyed Raw in parts. Jericho's promo was decent, and when Bischoff came out and announced Y2J was the ref i was really hyped up, because i was wondering what would happen.I hope they continue Bischoff being like this, i like a Heel trying to strip the face of his title.

The match between cena/carlito as far as wretsling quality is concerned wasn't that good, but it was exciting to watch.I think that's what the WWE has been missing, they haven't been putting the Face against all odds, the only thing weve been seeing is HHH being the one to beat, now they have something interesting to work with. And i loved it when Cena got his ass kicked by Bischoff/Y2J.I'm tired of Cena.

I'm guessing they're going to make Masters/Shelton feud, aswell as Snitsky/Big Show..could be decent feuds there though the match itsself was boring until the end, they really need to re-think tag team matches. It's like i'm watching the same match over and over only with different wrestlers/endings.

Matt Hardy's promo was shit, and i think i'm going to side with Edge now. Though when Vince was going on about bringing wrestlers back who stab him in the back, i thought he was going to say Brock has returned.Don't really care for Matt though.

And the Eugene invitational was good, though its obvious that Angle will win them back next week, when the show just so happens to be in HIS hometown.

Overall i'll give this show a 7/10.It lost marks for the diva search/ the conway&venis match. I am sick of matches that will be easy to predict.

Wait. You just praised like 3 segments in a show, called a match with a developing feud boring, and say you're sick of matches whose endings are easy to predict...Then you give it a 7/10?

The funny thing is Val can do entertaining matches. Not 5 star, or even 3 star a lot of the time, but they're okay. This is the first time in a while I've TRULY felt bored by a Venis match.

Yeah because i still enjoyed the Y2J/cena/Carlito thing, and HBK's impression of Hogan was good, and i can see they're giving Shelton a proper feud now.The Eugene invitational was good to watch aswell.I quit enjoyed Raw despite the negative things i mentioned.Though having read my post again i was probably being generous, i'll change the score to 5/10.

Even if the Venis-Conway match sucked, the fans should just stay quiet. These guys are trying to entertain them, it's not their fault nobody gave a shit about them. I feel sorry for those guys, risking their lives every night only to be insulted by every fan in the arena.
